Not happy....

Well I just got back from the doctor today after my blood tests and all.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with my thyroid at all! I can't really say yay about it, I can't really say boo hiss either. Let me preface that by saying that she's tested for actual thyroid problems (primary) as well as secondary hypothyroidism (due to hypothalamus problems that have something to do with how the thyroid works as well) plus tertiary hypothyroidism (meaning that it's a pituitary gland problem) None of it is true.

Just realized now my fat is ALL 100 % my own fault! that I am 150 pounds more than should or shall I say I need to be. Honestly would like to have this further looked into by perhaps visiting a naturopath and getting other tests. Unfortnately both my boyfriend and I are out of work so no coverage for that right now.

Guess I have no choice now but to do as Lance, my boyfriend has said. Rain or shine regardless of whether it takes me an hour to walk a 2.2 miles around the park across the street from us(that is twice around by the way) I just have to go do it. He told me not to use my videos at all they don't do anything for me. So don't bother with them. And cut my calories drastically, don't listen to Sparkpeople either. In other words he says Sparkpeople can't know what's right for me as because they are free they can't have experts guiding people.

I've come to realize I've been one of those be and end all kind of people for a long time. That means time to change that. I've come to realize in the last few days back on my weight loss goal that I do have the capability of doing a workout daily plus finding time to meditate, relax and keep track of my food etc. Maybe this is a sign of maturity? Maybe it's just a sign of being ready to change? Not sure but I like it!

Been talking with my building manager who belongs to Weight Watchers, she pretty much told me the plan so to speak. So I'm going to do something similar. Keep track of everything but salad veggies and raw veggies, keep track of fruits, and cooked veggies like potatoes, corn, and peas, and meats, drinks etc, just eat as much raw food as possible.

Will keep you updated! Even if I don't end up with any thyroid disorder.

My doctor recently tested me for, usually tests come back that my thyroid is ok but she also tested for secondary and tertiary hypothyroidism(meaning it's the hypothalamus and pituitary gland causing the thyroid problem)

If there is no problem then I know the problem! Just stick to it and don't give up, don't get panicky and weigh in too often, just stick to the program!

I am sitting here watching the HBO Documentary The Weight of the Nation and even though I'm in Canada I think the rates and such they're stating are very very similar. I kinda fell of the wagon a bit lately just so much going on. Using this to get me back to the right thinking. If you've not watched it you can watch it here on the website for the show. It may not only give you motivation to change but it does talk about way to rethink things, I'm only in the first of 4 episodes and already made my mind up tomorrow getting back on the wagon. Let me know what you think when you get a chance to view it.

It's not deroggatory at all, it's just logical sensible information based on many medical areas, and it's very insightful. Not to mention a frickin "WAKE UP CALL" (yes I meant the capital letters)

I heard Barbara Walters talk about it on the View so I pvr'd it and decided to watch it today.
