Today was my interview and test for our US Citizenship, we passed! Now we just wait for our date for the ceremony. My son will wait until we have citizenship and then I will have to apply for his certificate of citizenship.
This evening I went to workout and had a great workout - 10mins on elliptical, 15 mins on treadmill, 30mins with trainer including battle ropes - they are so much fun!
Went to the gym today and thought that I would try for 10 mins on elliptical, last time I did 8.5mins! Well I broke my record and got to 10.5mins, I only stopped because I needed to start my trainer session!!
Worked out for 30 mins with Kayla, working triceps and chest today.
Once I was done with that....back on the elliptical (Is Kayla trying to kill me? I just did 10.5 mins before my session!) Well, with the distraction of watching NCIS I made it! Yep another 10 mins! Feeling pretty good right now!!!
Today on Sparkcoach, my task was to blog about my food - whether it was healthy or unhealthy? For the most part it is healthy, but last night I had quite a few calories left so we took our son to Wendy's for dinner. I decided to have the chicken grill sandwich and fries instead of a salad! I knew calorie wise, I could afford this treat! But it did not sit well! It had been 2 months since I had had fries etc and it felt like lead in my stomach and I had terrible burping!!! I am not used to eating like this and I will not be doing it again! The good thing is, I did not have any soda, so I have been 2 months without Dr P :)
Today completed 6.5 mins on elliptical (remember that I add another 30 secs each time) - did not need to push myself to stay the time, that being said I worked hard but not to the point of pushing past my limit!! This is HUGE for me!
Tried to do a push up today with my trainer! Hilarious! Could not even do one - does half count?? I told her that I do the SP wall push ups, so that is what we did, she is sure that eventually I will have the strength for floor ones, but for now I am happy with the wall :) She showed me how to do narrow wall push ups and ohhhhh! I felt the difference.
Tried some chest presses today too! My trainer was right there helping me! Have I mentioned how much I love her??!! She knows just what I need and she is so supportive! She is always coming up with new ways for me to workout, I love the variety!
Ended with 10mins on treadmill, then 3 mins cool down. Did great! Sweat was dripping from my hair! But I did it!!! Was not too hard either :) Kayla (my trainer) was thrilled with my progress and said that 2 weeks ago I could not of done this!
Also when I was exercising, she said that she saw my bicep for the first time!!
