Two weeks of working with trainer update!

I have had a busy week with the VBS program at church and then working out with my trainer 3 times this week. I also have been working on my on line schoolwork, so much for taking leave from work for the week! I think I have worked harder than if I had been at work! emoticon

VBS went well and I thank those of you that had been praying for me during this time. The kids were great and apart from some grazes and scrapes - no major injuries! Yesterday when we were at the pool, I saw a friend that I had not seen for a long time and she noticed that I had lost weight! emoticon Asked me what I had been doing! Was great to get that encouragement.

My husband took my monthly photos yesterday which I already posted. Thanks to all who added their encouragement to that blog :)

I know that my trainer does not really want me to weigh but rely more on my strength and fat analysis, but I cannot help it! I must admit though that the scales have slowed down but my fat analysis is showing improvement!

This week, I had a cardio day, arms and back day and then a legs day! Oh yeah I can still feel my leg workout. By the way I also have arm muscles already! emoticon

Have bought some weights to use when I am away working :)

Go back to work tonight for three nights~

    Congrats on the fat analysis improvement. It's hard to give up relying in the scale I know but it's so great when your clothes start fitting better regardless what that number is.

And when strength improves, well, that icing and cherry on top!

Well, since my last photos, I am down 8.2 pounds! Am hoping that you can see the difference in these face shots :)



I tried to get the photos the right way and still it did not work! The one on the top was a month ago and the bottom one is today!

Busy Day

Have had a busy day! Started with VBS at church, took 18 5&6th graders swimming and everyone had a great time!

Had a quick lunch with my husband before hitting the gym! Worked out with my trainer - had not eaten or drunk enough before going! Had a dizzy spell and got a headache so had to slow down! Still completed my workout! emoticon

Back home from work!

Well, I was gone for 3 nights of work (well I was at work, lets put it that way!), we had no patients which made for a very long night! I tried to walk around some and work some of my sore muscles. I did OK with my eating though did indulge with my starbucks caramel Frappuccino light drink each night! But I tracked it!
I am going to weigh in the morning, as that is my usual time to weigh! Just got up from sleeping and now need to get my school assignment posted before midnight tonight!
Tomorrow starts VBS at our church and I am so excited! I have taken the week off work :) I am going to be the nurse, taking 6th graders swimming each day! Pray that all goes well! Now that I am a pediatric intensive care nurse after years of being a baby nurse, I am saddened and terrified of drownings! So scary!
Also tomorrow, I work again with my trainer :)

    Sounds like a great week is planned. Our VBS kicks off with a carnival on Friday night, then VBS starts next Sunday with SonWest as the title. I need to get my Stetson out!

Trainer Session #3

As expected, this morning I felt muscles I did not know that I had.......but back to the gym I went! emoticon
So glad that I did, we did shoulders and abs today! I am sure I will feel it tomorrow! emoticon
I started off on the treadmill and then did some weights and abdominal exercises, finished up on the treadmill as my cool down.
I am so excited to be on this journey with my trainer, I know that I can do it!
Today another 'exerciser' told me that Kayla had lost over 100 pounds! I am so impressed now and know that if she can do it, so can I! I have the perfect trainer that understands my journey!

Tonight I am working, actually I am working the next 3 nights so will blog when I can while at work emoticon I plan on continuing with my squats, lunges and crunches while I am away! Meet with Kayla again on Monday afternoon!
