Hi, hope that everyone is having a great weekend! I am enjoying being off but am trying to find the motivation to finish my paper for my on-line school
I had a great BBQ with my friends last night and I kept on track. She bought lemon squares and cupcakes!!!! I am pleased to report that I did not breakdown, infact I made a cup of earl grey tea and sat down with my fiber one 90cal cinnamon coffee cake! And I sat away from the table and temptation! I was within my calorie range and felt good about my decisions! Thank you to everyone for your support on my blog yesterday :)
I had a weight loss too this week for the daisy team spring challenge! This morning I got up feeling a little sore from my workout yesterday, I did a SP workout with my exercise ball and tried some new moves! This morning my husband was going to take my car to the carwash, but I said I wanted the exercise!!! Is this really his wife????? Anyhow off we went and I did the carwash and could feel the cardio workout!! He dried it off though while I vacuumed!
Came home and had a healthy lunch.........now to get back to writing my assignment!
For the first time in quite a few weeks I have the weekend off work!
So I want to spend time catching up with friends, so this evening I have planned a BBQ for some friends to come over. Well actually my husband is doing the cooking! Together we have planned the menu - homemade hamburgers (he makes the best!), grilled chicken and hot dogs for the children. A big salad, followed by fruit. My friend is bringing dessert! I am planning on having my hamburger on my "fold-it" flatbreads - a more healthy option to the hamburger buns! I am so excited to be spending time with friends.
Will let you know tomorrow, how it all goes, food wise!
I have been paying attention to my fiber intake the last few days and am doing well. Had no idea that avocado had so much fiber. Am trying to limit myself to 1/2 avocado a day though.
Thanks everyone for your advice to gain more fiber - I did find some bread that has 5g fiber and 80 cal per slice, also got some fiber one bars and snacks!
Am working on getting all my water in too and the scales are reflecting this. Took all my measurements today that are on my tracker as was just measuring my bust, waist and hips! So time will tell :)

I am so excited! Today I weighed myself and I had lost again :) I have lost 6.6 pounds since my birthday on May 9th :) 1.5 inches from bust, 2.25 inches from waist, 1 inch from hips. Total 4.75 inches in total!
I am back home, this time for a 9 day stretch. I am taking vacation time a few times during June as my vacation hours are almost maxed out and I will not accrue any more, so I get to be home more! Don't have any definite plans apart from vacation bible school at our church in a couple of weeks time, I am the nurse :)
The challenge this week in my 5% challenge is fiber! I am only getting in 11-13 a day, so am looking for ways to increase this. During this challenge I have been adding in more fruits and vegetables, but now I am home, I hope to get that number up!
Those that follow my blogs know that I travel away to work! I am away working nightshift for 3 nights starting last night! I have a hard time exercising when I am away but not this time! I packed my resistance band and printed off some SP exercises for when I do not have Internet access, just finished my workout and now time to get ready for work! Have my food organized too and I am tracking!
Did not lose any weight this week but I am pleased to still be on track, 2 weeks give of this 5% spring challenge already! Looking forward to my 3rd week.
