I have exercised!

Those that follow my blogs know that I travel away to work! I am away working nightshift for 3 nights starting last night! I have a hard time exercising when I am away but not this time! I packed my resistance band and printed off some SP exercises for when I do not have Internet access, just finished my workout and now time to get ready for work! Have my food organized too and I am tracking!
Did not lose any weight this week but I am pleased to still be on track, 2 weeks give of this 5% spring challenge already! Looking forward to my 3rd week.

Hi there everyone!
I was at work for 5 hectic and chaotic nightshifts! Those of you that are nurses will understand! Needless to say, I had my fitbit on and clocked up the mileage! I tried to eat well, planned my meals etc, but I was too busy to eat! I also was too busy to drink too much! Needless to say my weight loss this week has slowed down, but I am now stepping it up now that I am back home! Today went shopping with my husband and we went to a farm market store called Sprouts, so I am all stocked up on my fruit and veges again! We enjoyed some sweetcorn on the cob tonight with dinner! emoticon

I have been catching up on my spring challenge today, putting in all my points. I just found out that I was in 2nd place last week for my weight loss! I am amazed and it gave me the boost I need during this week! Thanks Daisies! emoticon

This week the challenge was to track all my food and that was not possible during my week, I am glad to say that it is not usually like this at work, so hope to be able to keep up! I need to use my SP app more on my iphone. Where I am staying I do not have internet access. I go back to work tomorrow night for another 3 nights, so plan on being better with my tracking!

    Great job! Although the app is not as comprehensive as the website, you can track and stay on program, anyway.

Back at work

After 10 days off I am back at work. I am on a 4 nightshift stretch. The good thing is that I thought I was here for 5 nights and when I got here tonight I was surprised to see that I am only scheduled for 4 this stretch! YAY! I love my job but I love being home with my family too. I travel 100 miles one way to work, I have been staying with friends but now I have a nice quiet house to stay in by myself. I have the whole house to myself and I just pay $275 a month! It is fully furnished so I am kind of house sitting and then pay for my room. The good thing about all of this is that I can bring my food and plan my meals!
Tonight I had a yummy salad :)
The downside is that there is no internet there, so I can only be online when I am able to at work. Tonight I was saddened to discover that while I can get on to the sparkpeople website, sparkcoach is blocked! I will have to catch up when I go home :(
Had a good weight loss this week, am hoping for a good result now that I am back at work too.

Good Day!

Today was my first day of having to be on the road since starting my challenge. I did great! Have kept on track, packed a lunch (used to eat out when making my home visits). I have been working on including fruit and vegetables with all my meals. emoticon emoticon
I have also been striving to get my water intake up too. emoticon emoticon

These are the 2 goals that I am working towards this week emoticon emoticon
