Last night I worked with my fellow sparker and it is fun having that support at work! I have kept my food within my limits and am working on introducing more fruit and vegetables into my diet! My friend, is a vegetarian so it is no problem for her!
Then, I got a message on my phone that my checking account had been overdrawn and that money from my overdraft protection account had been transferred over! WHAT????? I go on to my bank account on line and there are 4 fraudulent transactions!!!!!! I called my bank immediately and they are investigating and they closed my debit card! The thing is I hardly use it! All of the transactions were for flowers online to the tune of $435.82!!!! Hope that someone enjoys their flowers! The bank have been great and they have credited my account for the transaction that has gone through and the other transactions we have to see if they get processed by the flower place so that the bank can follow the trail! Such a bummer! I have to contact anyone that I have an automatic debit with to change my details! It will take 5-7 days to get a new card!
I have been listening to my audio copy of the spark......I am going to try 2 sparkstreaks - to have 4-5 servings a day of vegetables/fruit; drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Am enjoying listening to the book as I am driving, is helping me to remain motivated.
I amthrilled to report that the scales are going down! And I feel like I am eating so much more!
Yesterday, driving home, I listened to "The Spark", I recently bought an audio copy I think that it is good to listen to periodically. I realised that I was thinking as a dieter not a lifestlye changer! So I am now going for the life style changer way of thinking.....today I planned my meals with the SP planner and will see how that goes! I have been out and bought fresh fruit, veges and some flounder too! I am trying to boost my protein and calcium - those are the areas that I am always lacking.
Tonight we are planning on grilling some salmon!
Also, I am asking prayers for a sweet little friend of mine called Rachel. She is 6 and has been diagnosed with a skin and connective tissue disorder, the meds have not been working and now she is a the hospital getting heavy doses of prednisone IV to try and arrest the problem. SHe is also on a small amount of chemotherapy drug once a week too. Now they are saying that this could affect her eyes and brain! SHe is a very smart girl and she is being so brave. She now has to see an eye specialist, rheumatologist and have a MRI. Please pray for her and her sweet family - God is in control! Her parents are our dear friends and they adopted 3 special needs kids and then got pregnant with Rachel! Her father is also our youth pastor! Please lift them in prayer!
I am half way through my nightshift now! Looking forward to it ending - we have no patients! There is only so much studying a girl can do! I am looking forward to driving back to my family when I finish - it is a 2 hour drive!
I have plans for the weekend . Am looking forward to checking in with my children and hear how their first week back at school went - did I mention that I have the best Mr Mom in the world! He has got them to school, eye appointments, cooking, cleaning and driving them to activities!
This weekend is my son's 15th birthday and we are planning a BBQ with friends, I have BOCA burgers for me :) We are yet to decide on the birthday cake.....he wanted to wait until I get back home! I am going to try a sliver of whatever we get!
Also on Saturday, we are having a tea party at Curves!
Sunday we are having lunch with friends, then Sunday night back to work!
Let the weekend begin!
