Its a great Monday!

Monday, June 27, 2011

I have put yesterday behind me, thanks to everyone for your support and encouragement! Today is a new day indeed! I have been drinking my water (with frozen strawberries) today and have just got back from Curves emoticon Had to work an extra 2 machines as for some reason 2 machines did not get counted by Curves Smart! But I kept thinking "bye bye calories"! Even with not counting the extra 2 machines I burned 374 calories! We are planning on heading off for a picnic for dinner tonight - fun!

I agree with Kissfan1 and LJCannon...it was just one drink one time (right?). It's not like it's a daily habit. Consider it your treat...for the day or for the week.

I think we really do need to take it a little easier on ourselves. We can't beat ourselves up for one little mistake or even for one little "I-know-it's-bad-for-me-but-I-reall
y-want-it!" As long as you're eating right and exercising MOST of the time, you should be OK. I'll bet all of your calories balance out at the end of the week anyway.

As long as you enjoyed it (and I'll bet it was nommy!), lesson learned for next time. Call it a treat and move on. Tomorrow is another day. :-)

So for the rest of the night you have fruits and veggies like a salad with lemon juice squeezed over it for the dressing and water or iced tea to drink and pay attention to what you are going to eat/drink before you do. No harm- no foul.

Oops, but we live and learn! I'm still learning how to not beat myself up over one bad choice, but I'm slowly getting that it's as productive and brushing myself off and getting back up:)

I agree with Kissfan1. It is just one drink, and you have exercised today. Living a healthy Lifestyle does NOT require us to be perfect. It just means making Healthy Choices MOST of the time.

You'll know better next time and it's only one item and one day so give yourself a break. :-)

It's so easy to feel bad about going over but as long as it's not an everyday or often occurrence I'm sure you'll be fine. emoticon

Good choices!

Sunday, June 26, 2011

Well, I had a great time at sunday school and church - though all the water caught up with me halfway through Sunday School emoticon Then at church, an old friend had come to visit, so we all went to lunch! We ended up at pizza hut emoticon Oh no! But I kept on schedule and drank 3 full glasses of iced water, salad from the salad bar and 1 small slice of my fav pizza - ham and pineapple! emoticon emoticon emoticon I have logged my food from lunch and I am still ok emoticon Dinner is cooking in the crockpot and I entered my recipe into SP and got my nutritional value, all is still on track emoticon
Hope that you are all having a great Sunday with those that are important to you!
Love

Good Day

Sunday, June 26, 2011

Had a good day yesterday, logged all my food and was just over 1000 calories, got in 15 glasses of water! A friend had suggested that I add frozen fruit to my water and that made it so tasty :) I had even made a chocolate cake for my family and I resisted the urge, I had a taste, a small fork full, and that was all I needed :) I am looking forward to good day again today, have my food planned out, crockpot on!
Will check in later...sunday and church today!

Studying and New Job!

Saturday, June 25, 2011

Well, I am sad to report that I have not been doing well lately with weight loss, in fact I have gained all that I had lost !! But I know what went wrong......I have started a new job and I am not as busy/active as I was in my old one and I am also studying. I had been become lax and lazy! But not anymore! I am pulling myself up by the boot straps and moving on......have updated my sparkpage and reset my weightloss ticker. Went back to Curves yesterday. Have weighed and measured today and logged both! Have logged food yesterday and so far today......I CAN DO THIS! A friend told me to add frozen fruit to my water, so I am sitting here with my water and frozen strawberries!
I have also started a set schedule at work, I am working 6 nightshifts and then having 8 off. Planning and scheduling my exercise around these shifts.
