On the way!

Tuesday, May 03, 2011

I am excited about the Thin Within program and so far have released 7 pounds! It has been a challenge listening to my body and not be tempted to look at food labels and diet foods! I am enjoying what I eat and am getting in tune with when I am hungry and when I am satisfied. I am also enjoying the Bible Study that goes along with this program and seeing all that God is revealing to me. I am working through the 30 day plan, had to restart this week because I had got the book on my kindle and was getting frustrated when I wanted to write something or underline it, so now have the REAL book and am enjoying the daily walk!
I have also started my studies, I had my first class yesterday in live, and now I am online, have been planning my study schedule to work everything in.......home, work and studying as well as everything else!
So I may not be on here often, but I am still walking the walk and checking in when I can. I love all support on here and I also have the messages coming to my phone!

New Excitement

Thursday, April 14, 2011

I have really been struggling to be on track the last couple of months - I have been on a never ending roller coaster ride, I would lose and then gain, just to lose again! I have been trying to count my points etc, journal my food, exercise but I have been stagnant for a while now and I am back at the beginning again! Then yesterday I made a new friend! I got a text from another SP member who had joined the texting team and looking for texting buddies.....anyhow got talking with her and I heard about Thin Within! I am so excited, I feel that God bought her to me at just the right time and I am so on board with this eating program and I am excited that it includes studies in God's Word. I am going to call the 1-800 # today to get started. I have printed off the first week's study material that they have on their website, no longer am I using the club of condemnation! With God I can do this!

that's Awesome!! I have been surfing all kinds of teams to find something that feels "right". I was just looking at that team recently, wanting to find texting buddies! I didn't join, b/c I thought there wasn't much activity and I need stronger connections with people. Let me know if you need more texting buddies! emoticon

I'm so glad your going to give TW a try. This is the only way that works for me. It's all about filling our hearts with God and not the food. Food is only for fuel. As you do this you will be amazed at what God will do!! Praying for you! I look forward in hearing about your journey and getting to know you more.

Your friend in Christ,

Debbie

Exercising

Tuesday, March 29, 2011

I am exercising at work! I decided to make myself a workout that I could do between patient care using the SP strengeth exercises and I just finished my work out! I can feel my muscles now and I feel great that I could exercise at work! I am working in the NICU and have 3 babies in a pod, so I pulled the curtain and got some exercise in! I am so proud of myself!

Great job! I was walking the halls the other night to stay awake. I may just have to take your advice.

I have a fussy 10 pounder that insists on being held all the time. Maybe he can assist me with my exercise...or pull my back out.

No Pizza!

Tuesday, March 29, 2011

I am working night # 3 of 4, one of the nurses just came by to see if I wanted to order pizza! I won't lie, I was tempted, hesitated and then said NO! I feel so good about that decision! I am drinking my water and keeping SP on my computer tonight so that I can stay motivated!

Great Job. As A nurse it is hard to say no to ordering out, especially pizza. Some times we do not have the time to sit and eat like others. It on the run. Again Great Job!!!!

Spring is here!

Sunday, March 27, 2011

Time for new beginnings! I love spring and all the newness around, seems to me that this is the perfect time to get back on track after the winter! I have not been consistent or very motivated lately. I have been working lots of extra shifts at work and trying to work 2 jobs - looks great on my paycheck but is having a terrible effect on my scales! In a couple of weeks, I should be doing much better and be able to take some time for me! All this work sounded great in theory, but oh the reality has been exhausting! Planning food and exercise has been hit and miss! Enough already!
