I chose the title of my blog today because my father was telling me recently that maybe I ate too healthy, LOL! Seriously, how can you eat too healthy? He said that because I complained about my low blood pressure and how it makes me have issues like feeling like I'm blacking out if I bend over and get up too fast.
I feel the same way about organization, that you can't be too organized really. I guess you could organize so much that you couldn't find anything, but seriously I feel I can never organize too much!
I'm hoping and praying that a lot of my items get sold at the church consignment sale this afternoon/night and tomorrow morning. It feels so nice to have some extra space that is not filled up in my tiny house. I do have one more church sale this spring/summer season to go to so I'm hoping and praying all goes well.
If I sell anything I plan to put that money into a small chest of drawers (cheap one) in my attic to store seasonal clothing that we don't need at the time. I currently have storage containers with our names on them in the attic now, but think it would be great and more organized to have the chest.
I saw a cheap one at IKEA that I will look at again in person and see if that would fit our needs. I know I could find one at a thrift store and redo it, but I haven't been successful so far and most of the time they are broken are funky smelling, etc. in our area.
At least with the IKEA dresser I'm getting it new and their furniture is flat packed so I can store it easier in my car (since it's not put together usually).
I've noticed that the more organized I get the happier I am mentally and the less mentally weighed down by clutter. And as soon as I get one area organized (even a small area such as my linen closet) it causes me to want to organize even more.
I need to work hard on our master bedroom closet because it is not living up to it's potential. I've saved it for last because it is the most stressing area of my house right now to me. I think I need to find some cute wicker type baskets to make it look nicer on the tops of our wire shelves and that will help me to feel more positive about that area.
I need to do more organizing in our attic too as I feel it could look less cluttered if I found some cheap baskets to hold things vs. having the items out in the open. I really hate the cluttered look, LOL!

I am usually not a procrastinator, but it seems that I am being one this go around as I have so much to do that the church consignment sale tagging is not getting done. I've been so busy lately that the house has been neglected, not to mention the chaos of the entire house as I am sorting clothes, decluttering, organizing, etc.
I finally just now got the house cleaned to a reasonable level and have been working on it all morning and now past 2:30 p.m.
I am going to make myself stop and take care of this labeling once and for all if I ever want to have anything to drop for sale this Thursday, LOL. I would love to get rid of this stuff and bring in a little extra money for the household. This has to be one of my least favorite things to do, but I do enjoy getting rid of a few things and making some money. I just dislike all the hard work involved in getting to that point, LOL.
Sometimes I think it would be easier to just drop it all off at Good Will but there is always the money factor where I want to get new carpet (not that I would EVER make enough for that, LOL), I want to paint my daughter's room and get new bedding, etc.
I forgot to mention that I got a very nice ladies watch the other day at Mighty Dollar for $1. I know it sounds like I got a piece of junk to pay only that amount, but this store is so amazing the things they have for $1! My friend is already planning to go this Saturday and wants me to go with her. I don't think she will have to persuade me too much!

I finally got some tagging done yesterday on the kids' clothes that I plan to take to the church consignment sales this week and next. A friend called me and wanted to know if I wanted to meet her at Mighty Dollar (yeah, she finally listened to me and is now hooked on that store, LOL) and see what new things they had since she went by there Friday.
Of course I did since I would most probably have gone by there today with my daughter since she has piano lessons and Mighty Dollar isn't too far away from where she takes them. We both were about to scream when we got there because there were tons of great deals that weren't there the last time we went.
We got some Progressive brand items including a very large cutting board that has "troughs" in it so that any liquid goes in it. This isn't one of those flimsy, small boards, but one that I've seen sell for way more than the $1 we paid.
They had cake stands that swiveled (got 2 of those babies), Progressive grip and grate (it has a metal barrel in it that you crank to grate chocolate, cheese, etc.), Progressive apple cutter, a super nice over the door rack that has 5 hooks on it, etc.
We felt like we had hit the jackpot for sure! I kept telling her that she needed to go by there because the items they got in there were things you pay a lot of money for at Target, Ross, etc. Now she's addicted like me!
She had to pick up her son from an event after that so we went our separate ways, so I grabbed a small chili from Wendy's and then headed to Home Depot and got a new light for our pantry, which looks way better than the tube-type fluorescent light that was originally put in there.
I ran by Ross Dress for Less to see what new items they had there since it had been a while since I looked at shoes and other items and I hit the jackpot there as well. I've been looking for some summer sandals as shoes are something that are so hard for me to find that fit my weird feet.
I found two pairs of Clark's sandals (normally around $80-$100 a pair) for $30 a pair and I'm thrilled! These are the most comfortable shoes ever and I can't believe I found two pairs!
