I bought this yesterday in the market, around 4 inches in diameter but it's hard.
The vendor assured me that it's okay and it will soon be ripened. I just have to wait the next day and it can be eaten already!
True enough... When I woke up the next day... I found this Tiesa ripened and slightly cracked!.... and waiting for me to be eaten!!!
The last time I had tasted this fruit was way back 40 years ago, when I was in grade school. hiihihihi... This is my Dad's favorite food and he always advise us to eat "YELLOW" fruits becoz it's good for the eyes.
The taste is sweet and unexplainable. Hahhahah... And since it sticks to the teeth, gums and all over inside my mouth... I have to drink water right away coz' it gives me the feeling that I'm going to choke. But I learned it is very nutritious...
