15% off.......

Thursday, December 12, 2013

As of this morning's weigh in, I have now lost 15% of my starting body weight.

I'm quite proud of that! emoticon

Many improvements health-wise. Digestion much improved on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, less aches and pains, and blood pressure better than it was though still not ideal (need to up the walking to resolve that I suspect).

No time to slacken off though - I've not quite reached my half way point yet on my journey to the weight I'd like to be.........

emoticon emoticon emoticon Keep plodding on..... emoticon emoticon emoticon

That's great news! Glad you are feeling the health benefits. My bp is still high too, and it can't get it down. Plodding along is what we have to do I am afraid. I found another Sparkeroonie who is doing the virtual walk . She has been very dynamic. Her name is Mrs Doyle. She lives in London. Congrats emoticon emoticon

My shopping trip.....

Tuesday, November 26, 2013

Well, didn't get all I wanted but had a nice surprise in the process.....

Got one pair of Cotton Traders leisure trousers - I was replacing a pair that were size 3XL, the new ones are size L, so I have gone down THREE sizes!! I dared hope I was down two sizes, but hadn't expected 3
emoticon

Then I got a pair of joggers and a pair of trousers in Marks and Spencers (who admittedly are usually fairly generous sizes) but instead of my previous size 24/26 trousers these were size 20! And to make it even better these were in an outlet store and therefore reduced

I feel so much more comfortable in stuff that actually fits! The others had just got so baggy it was not pleasant.

I am one happy bunny emoticon

Very well done. I am a bit bigger than you but I will get there. My clothes are just hanging at the moment.

The time has come..........

Thursday, November 21, 2013

........ to go shopping!

It's no good, my trousers are struggling to hang on and are getting uncomfortable as a result. I need to go find some new ones. Not sure what size I am now, so it may take quite a bit of trying on to work it out.

Friday is shopping day - just praying I find some stuff that fits perfectly without too large a price tag, don't want to break the bank because I'm hoping to keep getting smaller!!!

I tried the charity shops but their stocks of large sizes varied between zilch and very very little.
