This was a pretty good week for me. Not much in the way of cheating, I did have 2 Keebler cookies though :) Was mid 90's all week, but this weekend is going to be in the 80's so that will be nice.
I want to be more active now that I've lost 50 lbs, but my body just won't cooperate. It's tough when you abused your body when you were younger and then you get a bit older and things don't want to work like they should! Maybe someday I'll find a job and be able to afford insurance and get some of these things taken care of, maybe.
Anyway, you didn't come here to listen to me complain, let's get to the numbers:
Weight : 263.5
Lost : 2.2
Total : 53.7
Overall a good week. If I lose at least 1.3 lbs next week that will be a total of 55 lbs, which is my halfway mark. I think I can do it :)

A pretty good week overall. The weather has cooled so the highs this week were only 88-92 with nightly lows in the mid 50's, good sleeping weather.
I was eating well this week, until Wednesday night... cheeseburger with a big bowl of chili sprinkled with cheese. Oh man it tasted so good, nom nom nom. Then on Thursday, I was hungry and hadn't made anything ahead of time so I ate half of a DiGiornio pepperoni pizza, nom nom nom. It was good, but not as good as the cheeseburger and chili! But on Friday I was extra good with my food, never cheat the day before you weigh in!!!
Weight : 265.7
Lost : 1.7
Total : 51.5 (broke that 50 lb mark, yay!)
So there you have it, a couple of dirty cheat meals and I still made out okay :)
Time to run, it's my free day and it's time to go nom nom nom on some good food!!

I feel blessed this week!
So my normal routine is to try to eat clean Sunday through Friday, then weigh in on Saturday morning. Then on Saturday I eat whatever I want. It has worked for me for about 16 weeks now. But this week I figured I wouldn't do so good. I had my "free day" last Saturday, then on Labor Day I took my son out to lunch with a couple of his friends for his birthday, then on his actual birthday night (Wednesday) we had spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner. So instead of having one calorie laden day, I had 2.5 of them!
But I ate clean the rest of the time and actually posted a loss this morning! A good one at that, more than I ever expected after such a week. So here's the numbers:
Weight : 267.4
Loss : 2.0 lbs
Total : 49.8 lbs (Just .2 lbs shy of hitting 50 lbs total lost!!)
So as it turned out, it was a good week. I ate more than usual but still managed to come out ahead. That is why I feel blessed this week.

Another month has come and gone. I will not mourn the passing of August, that month seemed cruel to me. After the first Saturday, I couldn't seem to post a decent loss. So now September is here and I can get weight loss ball rolling once again. So, without further ado, let's get to the numbers:
Weight : 269.4 lbs
Loss : 2.0 lbs
Total : 47.8 lbs.
So there you have it, a weigh in that I can be proud of and I'm within spitting distance of 50 lbs lost.
Although I don't have real high hopes for this week ... my son's 15th birthday is on Wednesday and I'll probably be taking him out to lunch tomorrow to celebrate. Everyone knows that you can't celebrate with healthy food :)
So this week might be off, but I'd rather have a good time with my son than guarantee a good weight loss.
Til next time,

Move along folks, there's nothing to see here ...
Not a great week for me, a little too much snacking; and too little movement. Did y'all know that playing Modern Warfare 2 on the xbox DOES NOT count as exercise??? Even if your heart is pounding from dodging bullets and killing the enemy!!
Okay, here's the info for those of you keeping score at home:
Weight : 271.4 lbs
Lost : .3 lbs
Total : 45.8 lbs
I think the 270's are trying to kill me, these have been the hardest 10 lbs to lose so far. But it's still a loss and I am still thankful for that. I must work harder (actually, just doing "some" work would be an increase).
