Not all that much to report this week. I did have a very small loss, which of course is better than a small gain. I could have probably done a little better but I didn't get to the gym on Friday due to having some errands to run and my lower shin was hurting from my gym time Thursday night. It feels much better today though so it must have been just temporarily angry at me!
Anyway, I don't want to take up too much of your time so I'll just post my numbers and let you get on with your weekend :)
Weight : 213.2
Lost : .2 (2/10ths)
Total : 104
That's it, a tiny loss. Works out to 3.2 ounces. But even that little loss is better than going up the same amount!

Friday the 12th was my 2 year Sparkversary, woohoo!
This week seemed to go by fairly quickly for me, not sure why, but it did. My father's birthday was on Wednesday so we did the whole birthday dinner thing just like for my birthday and I expected to be posting a gain again this week because of it.
But it turns out that I am actually able to post a small loss this week. So that was nice. I don't have any plans for the weekend, so there's not much there to discuss. I am a bit tired, so maybe I'll just post this weeks numbers and go take a little nap.

Lost : .6
Total : 103.8
.6 lb, not much of a loss really but it beats gaining two weeks in a row!

Happy Saturday everyone!
First let me start off by saying that even though this is week 104, it isn't my 2 year anniversary. When I started here my weigh in days were on Monday for the first ten weeks due to being in a local biggest loser contest. After ten weeks I switched to Saturday weigh ins because it made more sense for me. So my actual 2 year anniversary isn't until the 12th of April, the day before my week 105 weigh in.
This week, much like many of my weeks in recent memory, was an up and down week, mostly up! It started off with last Sunday (Easter) being my birthday, which meant I had Saturday and Sunday both as off days, pizza being consumed each day. For dessert on my birthday I had cherry pudding pie, a delicious concoction that has cherries and enough sugar to make an oompa loompa comatose! Of course there was enough leftover cherry pudding pie that I had a serving each night for several days! But hey, it was my birthday :)
I got plenty of fitness minutes in, but at the end of the week it wasn't enough to win the battle of the scale for the week. On to the numbers;
Weight : 214.0
Gain : 1.0
Total : 103.2
So I gained 1 lb for the week. I'm ok with it, I ate some of my favorite food and took in a lot of sugar. It's not the end of the world! Besides, I'm getting used to being up one week then down the next.
On the plus side I did get another class finished up this week, Basic Business Accounting and Information Technology (or something like that!), another 6 units done! I have 2 months left in the term, but I don't think I'll take on another class right now, I'll just wait until the next term starts. I have four 2 unit classes left which all have a lot of writing involved, a 6 unit class that only has a big exam to pass then it's on to the two 9 unit classes that will finish my degree! There's an outside chance that I will be done by December, but it will, in all reality, probably be closer to this time next year before I finish up.

Well this week was kind of an up and down week for me. Started off going well then all of a sudden my weight started going back up, despite being careful of what I was eating (sodium, sugar, etc). I was getting my minutes in but there was some sort of rebellion going on inside me!
At first I was troubled by this, because it was looking like I was going to, once again, post a gain instead of a loss. But I decided to just do what I could, and let the chips fall where they may. I know that sometimes our bodies will do things that seem to defy all logic and maybe this week was just going to have be put under the label of "bodies do weird things".
When I stepped on the scale this morning I ended up with a small loss (hooray!), nothing to brag about, but still a move in the right direction. I fully expect next week to be posting a gain, so I'll take this small loss with a smile.

Total : 104.2
213.0 is my new lowest weight! Not by much though because I was 213.2 two weeks ago, but still it's a new low.
Tonight I will be going out to a dance club, completely unlike me I know , but yesterday was the birthday of a friend of mine (42) and tomorrow (Easter) is my birthday (43). So my friend has invited a bunch of people to go dancing and since it's my birthday too, she talked me into going out also. Wish me luck!

So ends another week. I had a better week this time around. So many encouraging comments from my friends here on Spark, really lifted my spirits. Thank you all.
So this week my diet was still pretty sporadic, although I kept a pretty close eye on my calorie intake, my ratios (carb, fat protein) weren't where I wanted them; that is of course all my doing, there's no way to blame anything else but myself for that! So once again, I will try to do better with my diet.
I got some decent gym time in this week, 300 minutes I think. I have a treadmill here at home, not a super fancy one, but it did cost me around $400 when I bought it a few years back. It sits out on my patio pretty much unused. I'm thinking about turning it to face an old cupboard that's out there and putting a t.v. and dvd player in the cupboard. I can go out there, throw in a movie and just walk. Killing 2 birds with one stone, so to speak, since I enjoy watching movies and want to walk more. At least that way the treadmill will get some use and I may be able to drop my gym membership ($54.99 a month). It's something to think about!

Hooray! I lost almost all of last week's gain :) I was really hoping all week to maintain or drop just a small amount, so when I got on the scale this morning and saw the 1.4 lb loss, I was shocked, happy shocked. Now comes the challenge, to post another loss next Saturday. Hopefully I'll be able to lose two weeks in a row!
