The more I have the protein shakes, the more I enjoy them. It's like a milk shake first thing in the morning. Like getting your dessert even before the day begins.
These past few days I've been concentrating on nutrition. According to Spark, I'm having a tough time getting in protein and potassium. Really low on the potassium. I don't know how to bring that up. The protein I came in at 62 grams last night. The low mark is 60.
My calories are right at the high mark Spark set for me. I ended up there because of the peanut butter to kick me over 60 grams of protein.
December 1st will start my putting it all together. I wanted a few days to get used to the lower calories before I started spending even more calories. On a typical (non-counting, weight gaining day) I will eat around 2,500. That's a guess, but I'm pretty good with the guess-a-mates.
Exercise will be tricky as I have already gotten bored of weight lifting and elliptical. The elliptical, though, I can move through. Without the umph behind weight lifting, I don't tend to put out as hard an effort. I have been using weights on and off since 2004. Yes, it did help me lose 40# (only 20# of which I regained), but it is SSDD (same stuff, different day).
I'll figure out a way around the doldrums. I know from personal experience that it's weights, cardio and diet that gets the weight down.
And now for the picture of the day:
