After one week on WW, I feel like a did really well. I leave for weigh in soon! I walked or rode my bike almost every day, sometimes both, took a class at the gym, and did a DVD at home. My foot is fine, one small stress fracture in ones of my toes, so I hope to step it up this week or next! I will report in with my weight loss after I take the bar class at the gym.

The Susan Komen 3 Day for the Cure was the most amazing, emotional, exhausting, painful experience! They say it is not a race, it is a journey. Unfortunately my teammate and I raced, and while we didn't have to wait on line for the shower or for dinner each night, we were bussed the last 6 miles due to injuries instead of finishing: she had a stress fracture, I had shin splints and swollen feet! One week later and I am starting to get back into the groove.
I will totally do it again, have already signed up to walk in DC in 2011.
Unfortunately, due to family stress the week before the walk and pain the week after, I managed to gain almost 10 pounds! Who walks 54 miles in 3 days and doesn't lose weight? Sheesh! I rejoined WW yesterday morning and am committed to making myself healthier! We kayaked yesterday and I took a bar class today. My feet are still a little sore (I have an appt with my foot doctor on Wednesday to make sure I am ok) but I feel alot better than I have in the last few weeks! Looking forward to getting back on track!

Ahhh but 163.8 was but a fleeting moment. I did end the week lower than last week, but not at 163.8!! I am definitely trimming down tho, and people are noticing, so that is def. progress. I got the kettleworx dvds, and I actually enjoy them. Def. not traditional kettlebell workouts, but great to get me back in shape. I hope to do the AOS challenge this summer, so this is prepping me for that! I am also walking 2 to 3 miles per day in prep for the Breast Cancer 5K, that i hope to run and not walk!

Hooray! Shoveling 2 tons of dirt apparantly works, I am down to 163.8 this morning! I also signed up today for a Breast Cancer walk in October, with a NJ Spark Team! I am very excited, but I signed up to run instead of walk, so now I have to try and fix that! What a bonehead I am, lol

I only lost a pound this week, for a total of 4 pounds in 2 weeks. I really wanted to hit 165, but no dice! I am visiting my parents this weekend, something that usually means overeating. I actually ate pretty well, and we spent 2 hours moving dirt to level out a new garden, that had to burn some serious calories, i did half the shoveling and all the moving and dumping of the wheel barrow! When we went to Charlie Brown's I had the salad bar, grilled chicken, and broccoli :)
