Do Not take a Vacation

I'm not too sure how many times I have been here before. I take a "vacation" from working out and try to convince myself that I feel good. I mean don't get me wrong I like getting a bit more sleep in the morning, but in no way does it compare to the feeling of a good workout! I feel better, happier and more accomplished.
So I will in the future take my own advice and not take anymore "vacations" from working out. I will still take my vacations however they will most definatley include some form of exercise.

First week back

Here I sit on a Sunday morning recapping my first week back with spark. It's another cold and rainy day emoticon
I used to live for weekends however not so much now, I struggle with eating right and getting my exercise in. I prefer the structure of the week days, I'm up earlier, exercise more and eat much better.
I will use this cold and rainy day to prep my meals for the week ahead, tidy the house and keep thinking positive thoughts!
I've had a great first week back with spark! I've set new goals, joined new teams and made new friends. I know from my previous experience that tracking is key for me. This wonderful website is full of great tips, recipes and just overall motivation, use it!
I will end this blog in a positive note, I lost 4 pounds my first week back emoticon

compression shorts?

I am looking at getting some compression shorts to use on the treadmill. Being a bigger girl I am looking for ones that are longer than 3 or 4 inches and ones that will not ride up! I would really like to avoid the thighs rubbing together.
I you have any suggestions please pass them on to me.

    Well I ended up going for the running spandex kind of all together they new have them at jc pennys in the plus sizes and you can also get them at target too. I hope that helps they go up to 3x I think but they are the capris.

resistance bands?

I need help!!!! I am needing to buy resistance bands for one of the spark challenges but I don't know which ones to get? Any ideas would be helpful.
I would like to start my challenge tomorrow.

  Hi Kim, I saw this site which sells resistance bands for cheap prices, and it is also durable for any workout purposes. here's their site, hope it helps emoticon

Day 1

Today I am starting over. I have entered my new weight and measurements emoticon
I need to loose 40 pounds! OMG emoticon
I have no game plan set, but I need to take this slowly. I am an over achiever and get discouraged quickly. I am not too sure what I am going to do for exercise, as I have an elliptical trainer but am kinda sick of it. I am going to start my Zumba class again. This week I am going to focus on my water in take and watching my food in take. I know that I need to track my food because that is the only thing that works for me.
Today I am asking for support and strength from others. I hate this feeling of being a failure and being totally alone.

  My day one was yesterday. I am new to SP and getting random support from other members is truly motivating to me. (since I don't get much support from friends and family)
Just take it one day at a time!!!
