Another week. I can't believe its almost May. I started using SparkPeople at the beginning of January and the time has flown by. I've come a long way since then. I learned to eat properly, to exercise properly and generally how to have a better and healthier lifestyle. It's true what they say, you can't lose weight until you are READY. I was ready and I'm still motivated like I was the first day! Go Sparks!

Sunday-Another weigh in

I lost 2.6 pounds. Which is a surprise! I over did it this week, but maybe that helped. I've been at a stand still and maybe the extra food pushed me over and helped me move along. I'm suppose to eat somewhere around 1600 calories. I find this hard to do but this week I ate more and made that count of 1600 all week and it actually helped! Boy, I've been hungry. I know that "time" is around the corner! emoticon

Rainy Saturday

I have a simple plan today--being as lazy as I can! I went and rented some movies, To Kill A Mockingbird and cartoons for the kids! Not alot of movies out that I want to see-so let's go with a classic! I don't plan on doing much today but watch my movie and perhaps read a book. I love thunderstorms! It's so peaceful! I feel a little sore from working out yesterday! It was a great work out! Tomorrow is weigh in! Can't wait! I'm hoping before the end of the month I might make the 210 range. If not, it'll come in time!

  Rainy days are perfect for a movie or a good book. I collect movies: classic films and detective stories. Add a cup of tea, a fire in the fireplace - and it's heaven on earth. Enjoy your day! emoticon

My Friday morning so far...

My son (2 1/2yrs) refused to get himself dressed this morning. I went to dress him and all hell broke out. He was completely outraged that I would help him. My daughter informs me there is a dance today after school and wants to go--so she needs her dress (the one that's in the hamper dirty). I weighed myself this morning. Thank goodness the "official" weigh in isn't until Sunday because I gained some weight this week. On a good note, I bought some skim milk to go with my cereal. It was actually pretty good! I'm off to my sociology class this morning...I got a test today...tops off my morning!!

    Your life sounds similar too mine. Don't you just love the last minute school things? Skim milk is a lot better than it used to be; that is all we drink, at first my kids didn't like it so I slowly went from 2% to 1% to 1/2% & then skim & now they dont have a problem. good luck in school & weight in.

Very quiet night. Today was not my work out day but tomorrow is and I'm going to go on a long walk (weather permitting). I've been figthing the munches lately! Where this is coming from who knows! Why have I've been craving food! It's driving me nuts!
