Day 4.. High calorie day.

So today I'm going to make sure I have a high calorie day to mix things up a bit, no over indulging really just extra snacks to kick my metabolism into gear. After a couple of low calorie days I figured it wont hurt, it will probably do more good than harm.

The weather is AWFUL today, rain rain rain and I've heard snow is on its way again! I hate snow with a passion, there is no need for it! emoticon My husband is away until tomorrow and the kids are refusing to go outside in the cold so we're stuck indoors. Nothing irritates me more than being stuck at home..
I'm itching to go out and do a hike, I'm gonna research local walks etc in our area. Sparkguy had posted about having a hiking date with his wife.. might not be a bad thing to plan with Rob for when he gets a weekend off. We don't get to do much on our own. emoticon
I also need to get my bike out.. I've had it for 2 yrs and rode on it a grand total of 2 times.. I find cycling to be absolute torture. I look a complete mess. I'm so bad at it that it's actually funny to watch BUT it's another form of fitness to mix things up, plus after a bit of practice I may become good at it again, I could ride fine when I was younger but that was quite a few years ago emoticon
Now it's time for a cup of tea, the kids have vanished to watch a dvd so I'm going to chill out- what sundays are made for!

    Relaxing is OK, but if you want to go out, why are you letting your kids force you to be in? Your house, your rules. So they won't like it, and they may make the walk miserable for you, but that is emotional blackmail. And yes, I do have kids of my own, three of them, and no, I have never hit them, but they have learned that life is more pleasant when they do as they're told. emoticon

Short term goals.

emoticon Goal 1: 01/03/2013- 149lbs.
Goal 2: 5/04/2013- 140lbs.
Goal 3: 26/04/2013- 135lbs.
Goal 4: 31/05/2013- 125lbs. emoticon

Above are my short term goals and goal dates.. I have them written in my diary and on the calendar as a constant reminder! If I stick to plan I could be at my goal weight by my 1st wedding anniversary on the 2nd June 2013.
I know this is going to take alot of commitment but I'm just going to have to take this one day at a time.. 2lbs a week is all I need and I know I can do it if I stay focused.

I really do need to step up my cardio a bit more, I could be doing more than I am. NO MORE EXCUSES! I do love my squats though at the moment! 240 of the little beauties done today.. my legs have only just stopped shaking but it felt soooo good! emoticon
One thing I am going to have to be careful of is my calorie count, I've been quite low the last couple of days, not intentionally, but I know that it will hinder my weight loss. It's also not healthy! Tonight I'm going to have some supper.. I'm not really hungry but I am low in all ranges so I know I would be better off eating that little bit more.

Time for bed now emoticon

Day 3... still going well!

Went through to my mums for a few hours, it kept the kids occupied!
I've resisted snacking all day and I'm feeling really good now, it didn't help that mum was trying to feed me warm buttered crusty bread and then when I refused that she offered me quiche and chips!! NOOOOOOOO!!
Luckily I'd had a filling late breakfast so I didn't cave there.. phew! lol emoticon

Treating myself to a scrummy fish pie tonight with loads of veggies emoticon it looks lovely! Squats and core exercises are on the cards for tonight too, plenty of aching for me tomorrow then! Good aches though!

I sent off yet another application form today, feeling alot better about things now. The end of Jan was a bit rubbish but finally things are turning around a bit!

Another late night thanks to my son!! grrr! Don't know what is up with him at the minute! Waking up at least 3 or 4 times during the night and then waking up so early, leaving me so tired the next day!
The weather is off to a miserable start so it's looking like another indoor weekend for us. 8:15am and the kids are already fighting.. this will be one long day!!

I have loads of housework to get on with, I hate staying in on a weekend.. that's when the boredom munchies creep in!

Well, I'll definitely be back online later tonight! I'm gonna need to stay focused today! I HATE THE WEEKENDS!
