Lost 2.4 lbs AGAIN!

Well, so last week I didn't blog at all (shame on me) it was a busy week.

I only lost .4 lb. I wasn't discouraged... just a bit disappointed... but then I remembered that I prayed to God that I would gain, or stay the same. I guess He answered that prayer accordingly... then I had to laugh. I loss is always better than a gain or a maintain, no matter how small.

This past week, I made a few adjustments, even tho I wasn't feeling my workouts because of my dying HRM battery... and I came down 2.4 lbs. Thus, fully establishing my presence in the 150s.

However, TOM is coming to town with scheduled arrival of Wednesday 2/22. I hope this is so. I hate a weekend arrival! I'm feeling the hormonal cravings and just NO MOTIVATION to do anything right. So I'm fighting the natural man, that FLESH, that self destructing being... by overcoming my feeling with simply trying to do the right thing. Blew it today... but thankfully, there is tomorrow.

So here are my stats:

SW: 169.4
LW: 159.4
CW: 157.0
GW: 155.5 if TOM doesn't mess me up!!!

Goals for the remainder of the week:
1. Get sleep
2. Switch from evening to morning workouts
3. Stay within the 1320 - 1670 calorie range (ideal is under 1600)

    Get'em Mama!!!! I am soo proud of you!!! Morning workouts are the best because once they are done you dont have to worry about life getting in the way. AND you get extra calorie burns for the remainder of the day if you do more activities!!! Just keep Doin the dang Thang!!! ((Hugs))

I was able to shed the 1.2 gain and an additional 1.2. That's fine by me!!!!

So here are my current stats and goals:

LW: 162.2
CW: 159.8
GW for 2/11: 158.3

LM: w = 31.5, h = 44.5
CM: w = 30.9, h = 43.13

I'm going to go with the SP cal calculator... it says to max at 1620 cals and I think I'm going to aim for that. I was feeling pretty tired this week in the gym.

Still working on Sleep.

Water probably needs to go above 12 glasses, but if I can hit 12 a day, that will be great!

Last month, my goal was to lose 6 lbs. I lost 7.2 lbs last month.
Now, it's February and my goal, once again is to lose 6 lbs and I've already put down as 2.4 lbs. We'll see what the calorie adjustments do to help me shed 1.5 lbs by my next WI.

So this is where I workout. I've been meaning to post these pictures up for "Trainer T."

This right here, is my new love. I wish I had one at home. It's the closest thing to a massage.

This is the stats on my last workout... tonight... I'm going up! I'll let you know how I do!

Up 1.2 lbs :)

So you're wondering why am I all smiles because I'm up 1.2 lbs, right? No, not pregnant! I had a visit from TOM and I'm totally ecstatic that I ONLY gained 1.2 lbs and not 3 or 4 lbs!!!

I have not been eating well neither yesterday nor today, but today is a gym day and I'm going to hit it hard. I'm going to try to exercise for a couple of hours and see if I can't burn 1,000 cals.

So here goes...

LW: 161.0
CW: 162.2
GW: 160.2

It would be great to lose 2 lbs this week... I would be totally satisfied with a 2 lb loss.

The rest of this week I'm planning on doing 1,600 cals.

I want to plan my meals at least the day before so I can have a plan in place not to exceed my 1,600 cals. Last week I did pretty OK staying below 1,700... so I know it will be a challenge to stay at 1,600. It's getting personal. LOL!!! I mean, I like to eat... without even thinking I went over 2,000 calories. A lot of it was estimates so it was probably more... and yesterday, I'm sure I ate all the calories I needed for 2 days as well. So it's crucial that I eat 1,600 for the next 5 days without fail. I must see my scale reflecting a 2 lb loss (at least!).

OK, so I've laid it all out for you...

Down 4.4 lbs....

IT came as a result of the whole kidney infection thing. Yes, from UTI to Kidney infection.

So now I'm trying to maintain or lose 1.5 by 1/28.

LW: 165.4
CW: 161.0
GW: 159.5 or stay by 1/28

Cals have been adjusted via the start page... now I'm supposed to do 1680 and I was supposed to be down to 1700 by this week anyway. So I'm aiming high!!!

Going to attempt to get to the gym tomorrow... maybe won't hit the cardio hard as normal, but will definitely get a warm up before attempting to see where I am on my 5x5s. It's been over a week since I last worked out so I'm going to just test the waters.

Have a going away/baby shower to attend, so you know what that means... FOOD! Going to try to stay away from stupid and do the smart thing and have a plan.

Other than that all is well... and getting better.

    Kidney issues can be serious so take really good care of yourself and do your research on the topic (natural medicine in addition to the doctor's advice.) Just lower your carbs and drink lots of water and you will see the pounds drop off with your exercise. Wishing you the best...
