Well, last you heard I was in cake heaven. LOL

As I result, I wound up in scale hell. LOL Yeah, a 6 lb gain in one week. Hey, anything is possible.

I never started cal counting like I wanted to. Some habits are easier to break than others. So it will be hard, I guess, to start it back up again.

I've really not been focusing on getting to goal much any more. I just hate seeing me gain weight. So my new goal is to get back into 140ville and stay there or go down on the scale.

I really don't have a concrete plan except to exercise more. I mean, if I'm going to eat, I better work it, right?

I'm been walking and walk/jogging... did it a few times with weights... so my arms feel pretty good. But ST is very missed and much needed so I will have to get back to that.

I need to make May count and it all begins tomorrow. Sheesh... summer is almost here... let's drop this weight like it's extra clothing (and in the summer we all know it's too hot for extra clothing!!!!)

Oh, and the 1,223 is for how many fitness minutes I got this month. I think that's alright taking all things into consideration. I want to make it 1,500 for May. : )

    Sorry to hear about your 6lb weight gain. I'm glad your not going to take a back seat because of it. :o)

Happy 6th Birthday to my dd : )

That was today's downfall! LOL My girl's 6th b-day cake! It's like a "strawberry shortcake" cake. It was veganly delicious!

But the truth is, I've been eating like it was her birthday since Saturday. Ugh! That was official WI day and I was at 150.6! Yippee! A 1.8 lb loss! Now for the sad facts... in addition to eating like it was her birthday for 3 whole days, I haven't exercised since Friday! AHHHHHHHHHH! The rain and the stressful activities over the weekend withheld me : (

So I look forward to tomorrow for two reasons... 1. It's Fruit Fast day!!! and 2. I will exercise! OH YES, I will exercise!!!

I've been here and there... but been on the MAINTAINING WAGON... and when I last posted my weight on my ticker, it was March 15th and I was at 151. Last official WI (4/11) showed 152.4. So I don't think I did too bad, huh?

So now, I'm trying to get back into using the nutrition tracker. I was supposed to start yesterday, but I forgot... then I forgot today as well. I'll get it together eventually.

So how have you all been doing???

I'm hoping that I just keep losing little by little without all that time consuming tracking.

It is fast becoming a lifestyle and I'm so thankful for that.

Hey, everyone!
I hope all is well in Sparkland.
I've been doing really well maintaining. That gives me hope for when I actually get to my goal weight.
I hope I'm not meant to stay in the 150s because, really I'm a 127 pounder in a 151 pounder's body. LOL

So I'm thinking I'm going to try to come back into weight loss mode and do the dreaded counting calories thing. LOL!!!!

I really dread it... because I'm so meticulous about it... I weigh everything... even the condiments. Good grief!!! Add a slow internet connection and well, you understand why I dread it! LOL

So I'm still here and still maintaining... and hoping to get back into weight loss mode soon. ; )

oh, and this is the puzzle that got me into trouble. But it's finished now, so I don't have to worry about it holding me up again! LOL

  Hey KelsPrettyGirl,

You're doing great. Maintaining is an achievement! It's so easy to gain weight, so just not gaining is awesome!

If counting calories is too time consuming, another possibility is following a SparkDiet so the calories are counted for you and all you have to do is make the food. I know what a drag it is too spend too much time "logging," even on SparkPeople, when we want to get on with our day!

Regardless, you are an inspiration!

    Thats a wonderful puzzle and I love them and have ruined many of meals that way. Can you say "loose track of time" with "just one more piece"?

    Kels, that puzzle looks like it was a beast! It's an ocean...all that blue. We have one on our dining room table we've been working on since January about that size. Hopefully we'll be able to finish it before we leave.

Anyhoo, go ahead and start counting those calories so you can let that 127lber out and free! Hopefully the jumpstart will your system to let those lbs go!
