Measurements are VERY important

I was so discouraged that I hadn't lost weight in weeks but then I measured myself and compared that to the measurements from when I started, what a great motivator, clearly the fat is turning into muscle from all the exercise, I can't be unhappy that the scale hasn't moved - my shape is changing from flab to fab :-) Yeah, I know that sounds corny, but I don't care!
I am seeing muscle now where there wasn't any before and that is very important to me.

What a beautiful day today, the sun is out, the snow is almost gone (except for the once big piles) and the tiny green shoots are emerging from the ground... the gym was invigorating and now I am getting ready to boil some lobster for dinner - YUM... Today is a good day!

I would stress over going to the gym every day, and feel bad if I missed a night, but... I have realized that it is ok, I don't have to stress about it so much, I will get there tomorrow... :-)

    Ya, definitely. Relax. Same holds true if you eat out for a meal or take a full on diet break. The weight does NOT pile back on. I learned this the hard way.

OK - so I was hoping that I would get on the scale and see the pounds melting away... Not quite.
A - my clothes don't fit any differently yet so
B - I am not getting on the scale until next week.
I feel good, and I try to get to the gym every day except Wednesday when I teach a class right after work...
I will attempt a meeting with the scale maybe next week. :-)
