Thursday, December 16, 2010

So I wanted to Vlogs for my weight loss journey but hmm it seems to not be working for me. Another thing is I can't upload my pics from the camera that I am using AGHHH!!! its so frustrating!! My professional camera broke I dropped it, I was so mad. So now I am using a regular camera which is my husband's and the SD card don't fit in my laptop and the usb dont fit the computer this is so stupid and I also gained like 6lbs for my load days. Today is the VLCD so I cant wait for the fat melting process to began.

You can also take the card from your husband's camera to Wal-Mart or Walgreens and put the pics on a disc and use them as you desire. =)

do you have some of your recipes chosen?? I used one of the cookbooks to make a bbq sauce using tomato paste and other ingredients, then had it over steamed, thinly sliced cabbage and my portion of shrimp today and it was very delic. I actually had to add an additional can of tomato paste (and a few other ingredients) because I got it too spicy - but it tasted good one night that way (the spicy way) when I was dipping cocktail shrimp in like cocktail sauce :) Had BBQ chicken with it too :)

It all looks like healthy food, but isn't that a lot to buy all at once? Most of those things have a relatively short shelf life. You might want to just buy a few days of food at a time, then it will be fresher when you are ready to eat it.

Potty training

Wednesday, December 08, 2010

SO yesterday I tried potty training bc I am trying to be consistent bc consistency is the key.

I put my ODD on the potty for up to three hrs. and she sat their doing nothing,I GAVE HER WATER AND JUICE. SO THEN I REMOVE HER AND THAT IS WHEN SHE DECIDED TO POOP WHAT CAN I DO DIFFERENTLY?

She only sat there bc I had her in front of the t.v. with all her toys surrounding her other than she would be so distracted form my 13 mth old. She is 2 and I think its time bc she is able to communicate but its just after the fact...after she has already went then she will say poopy.

I will try your recommendation. The dr says not to pressure her and that was at 18 mths when I first tried potty training now that she is older and understands more I think she should be able to do it. Also as soon as my YDD sees her sister doing it I think she would want to do it too on the potty. Or so I hope....wish me luck. emoticon

omg, my son is 22 months and I have come to the decision that it is time to get potty trained because all day today he kept taking his diaper off... But seriously there is no way I could get him to sit on the potty for more than maybe 5 to 10 minutes. I think that would kind of make things go back wards with my son, because he would than just revolt against me.

Sleep Deprived

Tuesday, December 07, 2010

Why am I up? So this morning my YDD decided she didnt want to sleep anymore and also decided that no one else was too. DH has to go to work and I need the sleep to get through the day with my highly energetic kids. I dont know what her deal is she is a light sleeper, doesnt sleep through the night and she is 13 months so she should be sleeping through the night. So since she woke my ODD up I had to start my day early at what? 530 and that is too damn early for me a SAHM with no where to go. So I took the girls downstairs to play since they werent going back to sleep, so DH can sleep b4 he goes to work so I guess I am just gonna have to tough it out till they take their mid-day nap. Do any parents have any ideas for a child that doesnt stay asleep through the night? I use to give her a bottle of milk when she woke but now I give her water. But she still wakes up thru the night and the sleep interruptions is taking a toll on my body esp nights like these when she doesnt want to go back to sleep. Can you believe while I am typing this they are pretending to sleep. My DH said I should keep her up since she dont let me get any sleep. But have you ever tried to keep a child up lol well my kids dont care they will fall asleep esp when really tired body all limped and there is no way to wake them up. But I def. need to do something about her sleeping bc I am so sleep deprived.
