A GOOD DAY NEW RECLINERS

Tuesday, March 05, 2013

WE WENT SHOPPING FOR RECLINERS . WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR RECLINERS FOR OVER A YEAR BUT COULDN'T FIND WHAT WE WANTED. WE PREFER LAZYBOYS. SO WE DECIDED TO GO TO LAZY BOY SHOW ROOM ABOUT 35 MILES AWAY. I LOOKED ON THE INTERNET AT THE RECLINERS SO WE KNEW WHAT WE WANTED AND THE AMOUNT. WHEN WE GOT THERE THE PRICE WAS $30 HIGHER THEN INTERNET AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING IN STOCK BUT WHITE. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE DIDN'T BUY . WE LOOKED AT COUPLE OTHER STORES AND DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING. WE DECIDED TO GO VALUE CITY FURNITURE AND WE WERE ABLE TO BUY 2 RECLINERS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE LAZY BOY. THEY LOOK AS NICE AND SET GOOD . WE GOT THEM BOTH RED . WE DIDN'T LIKE ANY OTHER COLOR. WE GET TO PICK THEM UP WED. I AM VERY PLEASED.

HUBBY AND SON HAS THE HOBBY OF RELOADING SHELLS FOR THEIR GUNS. WE STOPPED AT BASS PRO AND HUBBY WAS ABLE TO FIND SOME VERY GOOD BUYS THAT HIM AND SON HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR. I PRAISE GOD FOR A VERY GOOD DAY.

LAST OF ALL WE WENT TO BOB EVANS FOR A VERY NICE MEAL. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE DAY.

Sounds like a nice day. We need to get a new recliner for my husband someday soon, as his is really wearing out. I'll have to remember to look up prices online before going shopping! Great tip!

It's so often that we have to learn the hard way. Hopefully you won't do that again. Enjoy your new recliners!

MADE ME THINK

Wednesday, January 23, 2013

I GET THIS IN MY DAILY E-MAILS. TODAY'S MADE ME THINK. DO I REALLY PUT FORTH MY BEST EFFORT. THE ANSWER HAS TO BE NO. IF WANT SOMETHING TO EAT I MAKE EXCUSE WHY IT IS OKAY FOR ME TO EAT IT. BECAUSE OF THIS I AM NOT LOSING. I WILL LOSE A POUND OR TWO AND THEN GAIN IT RIGHT BACK. SO THIS MEANS I HAVE TO CHANGE MY WAY OF DOING THINGS. MY WORD FOR THE YEAR IS DETERMINED I NEED TO PRACTICE IT. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN

January 23

2 Samuel 22:21
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

Don't expect God to make you thin. You have to do the hard part for yourself. Do know this, however: God will bless you beyond your wildest hopes if you will put forth your best effort and not give up. When we show Him that we really are serious about being better people, He is pleased beyond measure, and He will do all kinds of wonderful things to help us along. When we refuse to give into the temptations, to dirty our hands, then God will reward us and lift us up. All He asks is that we give it our very best effort. If we do that, we will succeed.

Today's thought: God is pleased by my best effort to lose weight.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS GOOD.

I WANTED TO SHARE WITH ALL MY SPARKFRIENDS. I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY GOOD ADVICE. HAVE A BLESSED DAY

January 9

1 Timothy 4:8
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

There is an old adage that says, 'Don't put the cart before the horse.' Many people try to lose weight without a specific goal in mind. Often people set a goal that is unrealistic. In our attempts to become more mature as Christians, we grow a little at a time. God doesn't expect us to be perfect right away. He knows that our growth takes time. The same is true of our attempts to lose weight. We need to take it a little at a time. Crash diets and heavy exercise programs are not the way to go. Our Christian growth should provide us with an example. Let us approach our diets with patience and take it a small step at a time.

Today's thought: Dieting is easier if we try to lose weight little by little.
