Sweat workout done for the day! I really like that workout. Really pushes me outside of my comfort zone. Especially today as every time I had to do a push up, my 3 year old would hop on my back and go along for the ride! Then he was running through my legs during other exercises. A little extra workout for the day I guess! That will teach me to have two rest days in a row!!!

Yesterday ended up being a non-planned Rest Day. It was a horrible day. Horrible day. By the time my hubby got home we spent the evening out on the deck with a couple of drinks hashing out the world's problems which helped me a lot. So today I will double up and get caught back up.

  


PiYo Day 4

Day 4 was actually yesterday. Decided to use my Rest day yesterday. I have arthritis symptoms in my toes and fingers and the past couple of days my hands and fingers have really been bothering me. I couldn't figure out why until yesterday morning I figured out it was from the planks we do so much of with PiYo. That and my shoulders were kind of bothering me. Decided it was OK to take the day off and rest those joints. Today is Define: Upper Body, which means just 18 mins of workout. This should be a nice, ease into day for my joints. Might try to get a run or something else in too, we will see.

PiYo Day 3

Today was supposed to be a Rest day...but I skipped it!! I listened to my body and while my body is feeling kind of pushed, I definitely felt I could still do more. I will listen to my body though and when it says rest, I will. I just knew that the workout was Define: Lower Body which I have done already and knew what to expect and knew it was only like 20 minutes, which was something I could totally do today! Felt great. I feel so long when I am done!! :-) Now it is time to enjoy my Saturday. My brother and his family are back this weekend for their Wedding Reception tonight and we are all hitting the pool this afternoon. Love this family time when we are ALL together!! Happy Saturday fellow PiYos!!!

Oh my GOODNESS!! Sweat is NO JOKE!!! I am drenched and exhausted. Five minutes into it and my legs were burning. It was awesome! I really pushed myself on this but there is a lot of room for improvement as I couldn't do all the moves they were doing and I had to look up quite a bit to try to figure out what she was doing. It's pretty fast paced, but I am going to love that about it once I get the moves figured out. That is a serious workout. But she is so motivating throughout the entire thing. She is good about convincing me I CAN DO IT!! I didn't think it was possible to sweat that much without any shoes on!!! I do believe there is a shower in my VERY near future!!! Make sure you have your water and towel close by for this one. I had a hard time even using my mat halfway through because I was so slippery from all my sweat. Awesome!!!
