This isn't a top 10 resolution blog. I just want to remind myself about my goal to lose 10 pounds - and cut out the cream, sugar, and butter from the holidays (hello! yum!) and get back on that treadmill AT THE MINIMUM 3 times a week. I have a 1/2 marathon to train for starting the end of January. By the end of January I need to be able to run 3 miles easy. I think I could do it now -but each time I get close to 2 miles - my foot starts bothering me. Hopefully if I take it relatively easy the next couple weeks it will heal as I'm ready to drop a couple inches in the padonkadunk area. How do you even spell that strange southern word - who knows. I tip my hat to Toby Keith though I believe for that one. Well - also another thing I need to get my padonkadunk in line with is tracking me calories again. Did so well for so long then fell off the map.
Reasons to work hard at health again and losing a few pounds and/or inches:
1. Maturation - 30 is encroaching - the (supposed) year the metabolism drops. I refuse to be dumpy in my 30s but rather more lovely than ever. That means discipline and a positive outlook.
2. Asceticism - too much junk in the trunk currently - getting to that oh... stage if you know what i mean. like those pants would fit perfectly except for ohh.. creases here slight tightness there = not the best. and I cannot settle for less than the best. Hello! So many cute styles to wear. Ladies do not look dumpy - they look light and airy.
3.Paragon-To be a good role model for my friends/ family. =) BIG ONE HERE. This is the reason that gets me going when I can't do it for me.
