Can you believe it! I'm in ONDERLAND!!! That's right, 199.5 which means a total of 25lbs gone!!! I'm so excited it's not even funny! Look at my pumpkin tracker!

I'm not giving up now! At this point I've surpassed the weight I was when I got preg. and the weight I was when I was last on sparks. Jeanie, this is the average weight I was out there in Drum! Now you won't have to squint in order to remember who I am! LOL

This actually gives me 7lbs to lose in order to reach my goal this month. I know that it's going to be hard with the pumpkin patch and all and just the simple fact that I shouldn't be at that goal until around the 9th of Nov. anyways. But, I figured that I try since dh should be home way before then. It would be a nice surprise though I'm not going to tell him what's going on and even if he says I have lost weight I'm going to lie and wait until he comes back from duty next year and finds me hopefully at 100lbs lighter!

I'm going to put up a picture but most likely it won't get here for a bit. Hopefully it will be today though.

I'm starting this blog for our family! The kids have been watching me do sparks for months now. Now they are excited to do it themselves! Marie has made a whole list of things she wants to do tomorrow and I got Vatricia to eat a whole serving of carrots today! Even the baby got in on the action with a full serving of yogurt.

Since I have my own page and section for blogging, I will come in here and just post about how I feel about the kids handling the whole lifestyle and also post up what it is that the baby did for the day. I will then let the girls post up what they did that day.

Adrian- Adrian has been sick for a few days and slept a lot today. He spent his morning eating cereal which was total with raisins and milk. He had some more of the same cereal for a snack along with some yogurt. He had some pasta and sauce for lunch, a cup of salad and a quarter of a cup of onions and shrimp for dinner. He had fat free cream cheese on crackers for another snack along with 2 baby carrots which he had instead of a banana (shocking!) which means beside the raisins, he didn't have any other fruit. It sounds like a lot of snacking but it seems to be what babies do. He also managed to steal a donut right out of the container and eat half of it and also had a sugar cookie. He is sneaky!! For exercise, besides being his normal wild self, we went on a family walk today in order to practice for a 5 mile hike. It only took us all 12 mins to hike 1.15 miles! I checked my pedometer which had the time on it and checked the car clock when we got back. I took him out of the stroller at about 6 mins into it and let him walk the rest of the way except for about the last 20 yards or so. So, he got in about 5 mins of walking the trail with us as part of his workout. This is outside of his normal running around and stuff. Plus he got in about 32 oz of water today and a cup of orange juice (which does count as a fruit)!!

Marie-today i had brestfast i had totel with rasens .i played comper games on the. then my friend leah knock on or door we said we cant play write now. me and vatricia chewy 100% hole grane .then we had lunch i had sapagedo,s & yogert with cherrys and rasberrys. so i had 3 fruits. rasberrys cherrys &rasins . we play out side. and we went to the store we got bannas cookies and doghnuts grapes plus carits . then we had 5 carits we went on a trale we had i dogh nuts we went 1.15 miles. we had shimp and saled!

Vatricia-yesturday i played on the com.. then i crocheted some more of my dolls Halloween costume. then i played with my friends. i came in for lunch then i played some more.after i came in for dinner .then we went to the store we got fruits ,veggeis and snacks . then we went to the park and walked 1.15 mi. in 12 min. wow it was supreis for me!

LOL, I say I'm going to post and then I don't do it! What's wrong with me???

Well I keep on saying that I'll do it later in the evening but by 9 my time, it's a new day on sparks and then I don't want to post until later that day so that I won't have two post up. I'm really weird like that....

Well the week end was just a rest time for me. I have been doing really good on food! I've gotten in my exercise and even did a step class on tuesday. It killed me!

I have lost one pound but I'm a little upset because for the first time since sparks, I'm actually above the red line on my weight loss chart instead of below it.

Not that I can be totally upset. I've managed to shave off tons of inches and when I say tons I'm talking like going from a 56 inch hips down to 50.5 inches and doing it since the 1st.

I was so shocked that I checked over and over and moved the tape measurer all over the place trying to find an area that was bigger. It was like this for my arms, waist and thighs. A huge lost all over!

I'm not surprised though. I was talking to Jeanie about how I thought I was doing to much on strength training and that the new muscle was slowing down my weight loss and adding muscle weight. I know that you can't expect the same gain when you are pretty much bulking up and I think that's the level I took it too for the past 3 weeks.

I'm wearing clothes I've not been able to fit into forever!

Tomorrow is the doctor and most likely a hike or what not. I know I won't make it to work out so. But I still have things I'll post up on Thursday!

By the way, I'm down a pound but I'm hoping for more since AF I only about a week or so away. Hopefully this is all water weight!

    Kat, those inches lost are huge. Keep up the great work and be patient, the weight will come off though it seems slow at times!

    Aww kat, all that matters is that you post something. It doesn't matter which date the post has on it because you know that your time zone doesn't agree with sparks. I am so glad to hear that you are losing inches even if the scale isn't moving. It can be so encouraging to know that hard work is paying off in some way. I can't wait to hear how Hubby reacts to the "new" Kat and that those last few pounds decided to shave off after your AF passes.

It's been days!

Well, I'm not sure how I'm doing. I think the last time I posted was on the 3rd so it's been 3 days now. Well, on Thursday I went and got pictures done at the ymca! Yes I wanted them done on the 1st but it's close enough.

I thought I had been doing really bad these past couple of days on the terms of food. Well I have but I've managed to stay in my calorie range! My fat is high at times so I need to work on that (I've reached 70 on fat 2 times and 50 once). I'm reaching my cals, carbs and protien.

I'm still working out but I can say right now that today is not a good day. I'm still sick, it's cold and there was some huge explosion just hours ago that has the streets blocked. I'm not getting any where near the hiking trail so it's up to me to do something at home.

I'm really going to try to blog more often.

    I second that - I really think writing is a great way to reflect. See it as a gift to yourself - some time to think about how your day was - hey, maybe you could even just post all the things you did great on that day, and then when you're feeling down you could look back at your past posts and see how great you've been doing! hehe (:

    It's hard to find time to blog, and I'm also trying to get into the habit once again. But, I do know from being there before, that it really does help you in reflecting on your journey and knowing what you're doing well and what you need to continue to work on. Ack, it's the best month of the year and I got off on the wrong foot! Or did I? I haven't tracked my food since Sunday but when I went back and started adding things I realized..."You stayed in range!...on cals at least...lets not talk about fat!"

Exercise though...well with kids sick and not allowed into the gym nursery, that's been out of the question. But Jeanie has been keeping me straight and I have worked out at home for ...2...3 days now...I think for sure 3...I know today was one of them, she called me in the morn and took me out of bed...nearly lost a limb doing it but I figured if she's willing to risk life and limb to get me to work out with her in the wee hours of the morning, then it must be important.

I did go to the gym today though! it was fun and I actually got a lot done. I did the ellipitical for the normal 35 mins. Burned 300 cals! I did things that I didn't know the machine had but only worked the functions during my cool down. Had it set really high like I was climbing a mountian! It was so easy for me, I was over my heart rate zone constantly and didn't realize it and had to slow down. I found out that I was over the zone for about 15 mins total! I'm working less and less of a sweat so I might have to make a change!

Speaking of making changes, my strength training at home must be working because I reached 12 reps on all sets and even increased the weight of a few of them!

It's been days since I've been at the gym but I jumped back in like it was nothing!
