What happened to the Scale?

I have no clue as to what happened to the scale. My last weigh in was last monday and sorry to say it said I was up to 247lbs which is a gain. I'm hoping that it is some water weight and things will drop back down. I'm still aiming for my goals though I will admit that I could try a bit harder. LOL

    I was where you were @ a week and half ago...My scale broke, I was off track, and I was having and all together crazy week!! Keep reaching for those goals... Keep taking those baby steps...Yes baby steps are small but when you take a bunch of them and look back you will see big strides!! Happy to say bought a new scale and have been seeing postive results!! emoticon

8 days into April

It is 8 days into April and so far so good. I have managed to lose 2lbs. My eating is okay. I did have a day where I snacked a bit but other than that, nothing but home cooked meals. I have taken a few walks but not much since I've not been feeling well due to tooth surgery or what not. Just my luck I'll screw something up. LOL.

Monday is my weigh in day so 3 days to get some weight gone. I'm kinda hoping to see 245...actually, I'm really excited to see that number.

    Awesome. I'm back up to 235 but don't have the heart to change my ticker. With the shut down on the verge of occurring I'm thinking of taking up beans and rice 3x a day to cut my food costs while we wait to get paid again.

This is no April Fools joke, I'm blogging.

I'm setting up my goal for the month of April so here goes.

SW: 248lbs
GW: 240lbs

To get there I plan on eating out less, staying away from high cal drinks, tracking my food and exercising for at least 3 times a week.

I want to eat more fruits and veggies and make more recipes this month, aiming for 40.

I want to practice yoga.

I want to contact more spark buddies more often, hitting up at least 2 blogs a day.

Those are my goals.

Clean Sweeping My Life

ml and decided to give it a try. I handed it over to a friend of mine and she decided to give it a try too. So, we are now accountability partners! I won’t go into explaining the site since I put it up here, I’ll just explaine what I am aiming for.

I have taken the test and gotten my starting score of 40 out of 100. My break downs are as followed: Physical Environment-5pts, Well Being-6pts, Finacial-15, Relationships-14. Mary and I will be checking in every 2 weeks to retest and post a blog of the results. Our goal is to reach 75pts by Dec. 31st 2011. We do have a rule which is that on some of the challenges we have to do it for 30 days straight before marking it off. No doing it for a week and then slacking off, it has to become habit. I am also picking out 1-2 things from each section of the list to work from so here are my items for the next two weeks:

Physical Enviornment- My Bed is made Daily and My personal files, papers, and receipts are neatly filed away.

Well Being-My teeth and gums are healthy (Have seen dentist in last 6 months) and I laugh out loud every day.

Financial-I currently live well, within my means.

Relationships-I am fully caught up with letters and calls and I have let go of the relationships which drag me down or damage me (“Let go” means to end, walk away from, declare complete, no longer be attached to).

So there is my list!

    Hey Kat - Glad to hear that you are becoming a priority in your life again. emoticon
I did enjoy the challenges you gave even though I hated them too.
I fell off the spark wagon and have rejoined since I just started working full time in Nov and have finally gotten used to doing more than everything I used to do.
I'm doing some fun things like hoop dancing and I started with Jorge Cruise's Belly Fat Cure. It is working for me.

    I know you are going to kick my butt at obtaining these goals. But in the long run we will both win if we can achieve all 100 pts. Here's to starting to look for a better me and you in the end!
