Day 2

....It's day two of my exercise streak....day to and I had to just go off and get it done...snsn...yep, it's 9:30 and I'm walking in with kids and all from the gym. I had to go, I couldn't just not go after seeing everyone who posted on my blog cheering me on. "Thanks for the support everyone, but i'm just too darn lazy!" eh, doesn't work does it....

So it was pool time again. I actually take one of those noodles and wrap it around me and the baby and spend my time doing laps in the pool. It keeps us both up and him close to me so I don't have to worry about anything. I also do leg exercises in the pool. Only bad thing is that I didn't get in arm exercises today. Can you believe that you can sweat in water...sounds odd huh...LOL

Well, tomorrow will be day three and I'm not sure about the pool this time. We plan on working out for sure and maybe doing some family event else where in the place. Maybe the family track a few times or something of the sort.

Overall it's a better day. Better eating, added in fruits and veggies, only had one snack for the day and got in 6 cups of water so far. 2 more to go!

It almost feels like it did back in Oct when everything came so easy. I went in to the Y and the nursery lady who also works the front desk looked at me and said, "Where have you been? I miss my baby."

She's not the first person to say that in the past two days. It makes me realize that I made many friends there and they know that I'm on a mission and know when I'm not around. It's like coming back to sparks, everyone comes back to check on me. They realize I'm gone. It let's me know I'm part of something big, something important.

I like that feeling.

    Good for you going to the pool! I hear you about sweating in the pool...it does happen regardless of what others think! LOL, you suppose when we are really thin we won't sweat in the pool anymore? : )

Goodness, I've not blogged in a whole month!

I've been meaning too and actually I've been going to my personal journal on here and writing but not making it public. It's mostly been stuff about my day and what needs to be done the next day and if I did it...For example, 2 days ago I was supposed to blog...I didn't and next day talked about how I didn't....instead of blogging...LOL. Well it's up now!

Not much has been going on. Lack of exercise, more junk food and fast food...I've gained back some weight but not as much as I thought I would since it's been about 2.5 months off of sparks and when I went off I went straight to eating out and no exercise due to dh being here. Well he's still gone and I'm just now getting into the grove. I'm working on some things and will be posting up and blogging daily now.


I got this idea from my spark buddy Lainie (LAINIEINGA), by the way HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAINIE!!! HUGS GIRL!

Well, she's doing an exercise challenge and I'm going to get in on it starting today (the 10th) and going until the end of this month. So, everyday working out, this is honestly going to hurt and yet be fun. LOL

    I know you can do it! In fact we both should do it :P Now all i have to do is convince my fat preggo butt to do something other than tend to sick family members and maybe i can get 10 mins of exercise out of the way. As for teh poor eating choices I can't help much, but hopefully soon we both can be on our ways to eating better :D I know that you can do it!

Okay, so today was swimming with the kids at the Ymca. I also did pretty good today on food even though I did not track it. It was a birthday today for my oldest and I had cheesecake (one slice) and a six inch sub along with a cookie, soda which was reg. size. Other than that, it was nothing but 2 slices of french toast.

I do need to pick up water though. I'm on the last of the soda in the house. It is diet though. I'm also short on money so it will be "No more eating out for me"

I've already started to bring in the good foods. I'm starting back on the right track again!

  Hey, the good news is - it was one slice of cheesecake and not more LOL you're doing great!
One thing I always have to remember is not to beat myself up over missing a day of tracking - I never make it so it's two days because we know how that can snowball with excuses right? LOL You could have tossed the whole day out the window but it seems like you did really well !

Well, before dh came home I was having some issues with my scale. As you can tell, I weigh in 3 times a week due to groups. Well I was jumping from 196.5 to 199.5 and then, the scale died. So, the last number before it started jumping around was 198.5 and I'm going to go with that instead of the lower 196.5 or 199.5. My new weight (after batteries!) 201 and that might be a lot of water weight since I've been taking in reg. soda, high sodium foods and not a lot of water...smack me! Plus AF should be here in a week or so. So, I'm hoping to lose about 2-3lbs just flushing out and taking down the swelling. Hopefully. Either way, with the lack of exercise and all the take out food and soda, I've only gained 3.5lbs in about a month and almost 2 weeks.

The good news is this. Those 14's that I got into, I can still get into them and they are looser than ever! It's like I've been losing weight but the scale isn't showing. People are still making comments about me still losing though!

    that happens to everyone. Scale doesn't move but everything else does. I went through a crazy period where every time a measured myself it was a little off. For instance, my waist would get smaller the large etc. It was so crazy. Keep up the measurement loss.

I'm sure with dh home weight loss was the last thing you wanted to think about LOL
Have you done measurements? Even if you measure once a month you'd probably see some changes in those numbers rather than the scale.

I managed to finish Nanowrimo a day early. I turned in my 50k words and got my certificate before midnight! I'm so happy. Now it's on to my other writing projects and back on track for Sparks!
