I feel like a failure!

Saturday, September 01, 2012

This is Sept. 1, 2012 and I have not done anything good for my self or my body since June 13, 2012. On that date there was a Fire in the condo building I live in. Everyone got out ok including the pets. Since then, my husband, myself and our cat lived in 4 hotels and are now in a different condo till at least January 1, 2013. I have lost all motivation to exercise or take care of my body. Needless to say I have put on pounds and just got a new job. I am trying very hard to get back on track with my workouts but need much help and support.

I hope everyone is doing well and are moving forward with there goals! Have A Very Happy Memorial Weekend! emoticon emoticon

Hugs! Thank God you all got out of the fire safely. Stress like that can really throw you for a loop.. I think that your being here to even check in shows a great desire to get back to taking care of yourself and that is a good step.

When I was young my house burned down and it has haunted me my whole life.

What step can you take TODAY to get back on track? Track food? Eat more fruits and veggies? Drink more water? Take a walk?

Best wishes!

Phillipians 3:13-14 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: FORGETTING the past and looking FORWARD to what lies ahead. I PRESS ON to REACH THE END OF THE RACE and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Don't beat yourself up over the past. Just pick yourself back up, shake the dust off and do the best you can at this meal, at this hour, on this day, etc.

You only have to start and with a new job a new condo , why not make a new beginning for yourself on a healthy path at the same time. Don't worry about what you did wrong just consider it a fresh start.

You've had a stressful couple of months. Don't beat yourself up about sliding off track. Just get back on and forget about what has happened in the past. You can't change the past... you can only plan for the future.

You can do it!!!!

A journey of a thousand miles start with one step! So start simply by stepping on the scale to see the number and begin tracking your food again. The motivation to exercise will come!

Having been through a house fire myself, I can say that you've been and are still going through something horrible. Be gentle and patient with yourself, until you get settled. emoticon

It sounds like you have had a rough couple of months. Life get in the way. It sucks. I have been in a rut myself after needed to get staples in my head and being put on a hold from working out. Getting back into seems to be the toughest thing (mainly mentally).

You can do! You survived a condo fire. You have your family, and people around you that support you. Just start out small. Maybe walks around the block or something. You can do it!

A New Day

Wednesday, June 06, 2012

Motivated and Inspired today. I have let yesterday go and am moving forward with today's goal. My biggest problem is that I tend to look ahead when sometimes I need to just focus on the day at hand.

Well, I have done my work out now off for my walk. Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!!

Very Frustrated

Tuesday, June 05, 2012

Sunday was the beginning of my 4th week. I have blown everything I have done in the past 3 weeks and am trying to start all over again. to top it off I somehow have two Spark pages and just did a 9min. work out video that went on the other page along with 100 Spark points for Goodies. I know I need to just pick myself up, brush the dirt off and start again but at this moment I just want to give in. So I am hoping that by writing this it will get me going again. I do hope everyone else is doing well!!! emoticon

Please don't give up on you!
Please don't.

I've been trying to lose weight for over 5 years yes you read write 5+ years.
I have hormones to some what to blame, but stress is a culprit also.

What ever you do don't quite.
Your health is worth fighting for.

Over the past few weeks I've had to do some changing for me.
I did so much cardio that I did not think ST was worth it.
Well I've changed this and I'm moving on.

And you can to.
Why do I say this because girl YOU are worth it!
And your health is so, so important.
I had to do a recheck on what I was doing...and made changes maybe that's ALL you might need to do.

And yes emoticon

I just blogged the other day that I feel like I am living the movie `groundhog day`because I will do amazing all week and lose 2 LBS just to blow it and regain those 2 LBS and sometimes more on the weekend. I bust my butt exercising (which I do NOT enjoy) all week and in the end it`s for nothing...So here I am 3 weeks in to doing the exact same thing, up 3 LBS but still trying and working hard today on doing better! I can do this....you can do this..... we just need to be more determined! :)
