get back to C1 and on plan. This is *stupid*!! While it's true that I am somewhat disabled with the hip/pelvic-now-knee thing........It will really help for me to get this weight off and get back on track! Part of my problem is that by noon time, I'm so uncomfortable that I don't want to go across the street to pick up a salad....so I grab whatever is nearby at work. BAD!!!
I can remember my mom, who at age 75 or so, would have peas & a small potato for dinner. When I would question her as to why so little....she would tell me that her doc recommended that she watch her weight because it would be easier on her hips. I thought, because she only weighed about 125 soaking wet.....that was silly. I think I have just changed my mind about the silliness factor!! 125 pounds here I come!!
Right now, walking, sitting, standing and sleeping are all difficult.....ugh! (Last night I got 3:54 hours of sleep.....I wear a Fitbit).
So - enuf foolin around! Back at it!!

After a long struggle, my Uncle Paul passed on Saturday. He had a very difficult time with PTSD for all of his life post-war. He is finally at rest.....

I can't believe that the last time I made an entry was August 16! Since then, I have gone up to Silver Falls ranch to ride one of Robin's horses... Pictured here. His name is Ehu. His name means "red" in Hawaiian. Apparently, he is a little rude when he has non-riders on his back... So Robin asked me to take him out for a training session. This little boy knows exactly what he's doing, because he made no mistakes while we were out. I couldn't correct him for anything – because he did not do anything wrong! As a result, we had a very good ride!
Unfortunately for me, I could not finish the ride, because Ehu had gained some weight while he was out on loan to another ranch, and he is a little too wide for me now... His wideness aggravated my left hip big time! I actually had to take yesterday off from work because I did not sleep at all the night before thanks to the pain. Last night when I was feeling a little better I got more aggressive about my PT exercises at home, especially doing lots of ab work... Thinking that strengthening my abs will actually help my pelvis and my hips. The proof of the pudding is today when my hips actually do feel better; so I think I might join the gym today, or at least get a day pass, and go swimming this afternoon.
You can see from my tracker that I'm starting to get my weight off again – this is important. I need to get this last 30 pounds off; I am convinced that that will help my hips feel better as well so I can ride more often. This one ride on and four days off is ridiculous.

Well it's been an interesting day! The rainbow is what I saw when I took Ms. Kolie for her walk's morning. Sometimes I'm sad that she can't see that too, although I don't know that it would mean much to her.
As I said had has been an interesting day! It was supposed to be my day off; but the radio station called and asked me to help with the payroll error that happened yesterday, so I had to go in on my day off and fix that. Given the fact that I am supposed be long gone out of that station, I was royally upset!
The rest of the day went fairly well. Got a little housework done, and then decided to tackle the task of getting my photos transferred from my Samsung 3S to my computer. That only took me an hour and a half; the process is not nearly as easily done as it was with the iPhone! But! Mission accomplished and that rainbow that you are seeing above this blog is one of the ones that was transferred.
When I went to the station this morning one of my friends announced to me that she has already lost 47 pounds and she has 41 ago. She is not doing the 17 day diet, and I'm not pressing the point – she's doing fine with whatever she's doing. But I did challenge her because I want to get my last 30 pounds off and she wants to get her last 40 pounds off. So we have a goal we want to get gone by December.
Physically I'm feeling better... At least today – I'm in a lot less discomfort, and moving more freely, so slowly but surely I'm going to start building up my walking distance again. I don't want to do what I did last week and go gangbusters doing 6+ miles and then being miserable and severely lame for the next three days! I do have an appointment with the orthopod on August 30… I'm hoping she'll get me a renewal on my PT prescription, so I can get this thing wrapped up once and for all. I am supposed to have bloods drawn to make sure there isn't anything at the enzyme level , but because I'm feeling better I think I'll hold off. If the symptoms flare up again then I will go in and get the bloods drawn.
My day off is over; it is time to close up the house and say good night.

I hate to admit it, but my friend Sarah was right! I over did it with all my walking around the shop at work and I've been suffering ever since! Today is a day off for me, and I have taken a full day off. Things are a little better but not perfect
I saw my cardiologist the other day and my heart is fine, but he agrees that I do not look well and I assured him it's because of the pain that I'm in. He has ordered some blood tests for me which I will get next Tuesday – just to make sure nothing else is going on. I will see the orthopod again on August 30, and hopefully she'll get me back into PT.
