2011 Fitness Goals

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

Alrighty I've made my list! On top of reaching my goal weight by the beginning of April (wow that's coming quick) I also have three other goals related to my fitness.

1. Run a 10k by April
2. Run a 8 mile race by June
3. Run a 1/2 marathon by October.

So I've started my training program, I workout 6 days a week with one rest day and alternate running with stretching or strengthening. Mostly my weeks look like this:

Monday: Yoga
Tuesday: Run
Wednesday: Yoga/Pilates
Thursday: Run
Friday: Rest
Saturday: Yoga
Sunday: Long Run

I found a great yoga dvd (the Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga DVD) that combines weights with yoga. Not only do I get sexy long muscles and a good stretch, but I sweat like crazy!

Well, I better get working.

The dreaded picture...

Friday, October 15, 2010

Last year it was my fiance's holiday picture of the two of us that made me swear to lose the weight...and then this summer came around. We just got our picture of us at the winery back and again I find myself wondering why I never lost the weight. But no more beating my self up, no more wondering why. I am ready to get serious about this and ready to get my head back in the game for the win. I have two more weigh ins this month and I WILL be down to 150 by then, I just know it.

So that's it. No more waiting, no more excuses, no more saying it doesn't matter. I am getting this weight off before the end of the year.

I deserve it. emoticon

Engagement Party

Thursday, April 01, 2010

Ok so coming up in May we have decided to have an engagement party. Just something fun where our families and friends can meet each other before the big day. I am super excited to plan it and I am super excited to get gorgeous for it.

Talk about motivation!

There will be dancing, lots of pictures, and I want to be comfortable and confident! Last time we took picture with his family there were some not so pleasant shots of my legs - and this time I want to be in an above the knee dress looking HOTT!

Maybe something like this:

Or a cute pant outfit like this: (except no skinny leg for me - too short of legs)

Ooo I can't wait to start losing the weight!

My bridal blog

Sunday, March 07, 2010

I have finally been able to get back to my bridal blog, Dreaming Down the Aisle, and I am so excited! Its the perfect way for me to give my creativity an outlet and to put down all the thoughts and ideas I have about wedding stuff, even though I may not actually end up using it.

I live in Northern California, the Sacramento area to be exact and there really aren't a lot of bridal resources out here. So soon I hope to be able to start documenting all the lovely venues and companies we have up here to help some of the Nor Cal Brides. Let me tell you when I first started looking, I could hardly find any good info online, so my plan it to fix that.

Be sure to check it out and let me know what you think!

That's great! When I first started planning I couldn't find anything for my area here in Hamilton, ON Canada. Everything seems to be in Toronto which is far away and much more expensive. Wish there was someone like you to help brides up here!
