This New Years Resolution is to eat healthier and exercise more. This time I am not going to follow any restrictive diet because I know that for me it does not work. Actually,that isn't quite true. It works for a while. I lose weight and then I feel comfortable eating the forbidden foods and gain the weight back. I am just going to eat sensibly and exercise more. Limit my sweets (this has been a problem lately) and add more fruits and veggies. That's it. I'm not making any claims to lose 20,30,40 pounds. I'm not saying that I'm going to run an hour a day,take up spinning classes or run a marathon. I'm just going to have a "healthier" year. Hope my friends join me emoticon

    I am right behind you, right next to you. I totally agree. I have to stay clear of the goodies. I have found if I start in on them I can't resist. I get that sugar high and want more. I am a food junkie, I admit it. So far, so good. My kids are going back to the gym, I just don't want to. I would rather work out at home when I want to. I don't want to be obligated to any specific time for a class. Hopefully, tomorrow everything will be back to normal. We haven't had a full day of school since December.

    I have to remember this. Sometimes I feel like I am going nowhere fast. I really wish my gym would offer some kind of strength training classes. Other than zumba which is free with your gym membership, spinning is $5 per class and there is an abs class which I don't know what that cost. I really need the motivation of a class. I have a really hard time on my own, I always put if off and end up not doing anything. Really need more motivation.

    Too funny. Love it. That is the easy way. I think with zumba I am supposed to burn around 400 or so. I must eat a lot because the scale does not seem to go down even though I am burning about 1200 calories a week. I have really been trying to watch what I eat. I guess it is going to take longer than a week or two.

Face Mask

Just read an article on different food face mask for more radiant skin~

Mash a banana and leave on for 10-15 minutes~ emoticon OR

Whole yogurt leave on for 20 minutes~ emoticon OR

Cook 1/3 cup of oatmeal and mix with honey(did not say how much emoticon ),cool.apply to face for 20 minutes~ emoticon OR

Beat egg whites and leave on face for 10-15 minutes~ emoticon

I wonder if this works with expired food. I never seem to use all my eggs or eat the yogurt before it has expired emoticon .
