In my last blog, I lamented the fact that I overate and lamented the fact that I felt no guilt for it. What I've done since, though, is reflected on what went wrong. One wrong move was drinking wine. Duh! It impairs judgement. The second was poor planning. I've been doing really well by planning meals in advance as well as planning what to do when faced with challenges, such as a colleague's birthday cake. I did not plan for ways to avoid obatacles on this trip. Thank goodness I did plan workouts, though!

I Ate Everything!

I'm on a business trip, eat everything in my motel room, wash it down with a bottle and a half of wine, and run downstairs to eat more snacks. Bummer. The good news is that I had a great workout after the training session today, and I'm just not someone who gets guilty about what I eat. We're off to dinner! :)

This week has been ultra busy. Grades were due on Monday, and I had to prepare lessons for a sub so I could go to a training conference. I've been running, getting everything done, so I could leave this afternoon at 4:30, drive 2 1/2 hours south, and get my cardio in before bedtime. So, here I sit, waiting for my co-worker to show up for over an hour now...a lesson in patience that I'm not enjoying.
