from my work life is really challenging. I struggle with it more each day.
A few years ago, our superintendent showed us a customer service movie called "Give 'em the Pickle." In it, Bob Farrell, a restaurateur in Seattle, explained what customer service is all about. Part of that should be focusing on your job and concentrating on the service you're being paid to provide rather than wallowing in whatever is going on in your personal life. Dang, it's difficult! I loved the movie, but I'm cursing my boss now for bringing this to my attention and thereby "causing" guilt along whatever else I'm dealing with when I'm struggling.
