Scale refuses to move

Its very aggravating...On the 11th I joined my local gym and have been going faithfully, in addition to the walking schedule that I have been maintaining for the last 2 months. I thought with the additional elliptical workouts and weight training I would see a difference in the scale. I know its only been a week, but to me, that should have brought about some minor difference... Trust me, the way I feel after 30 to 40 minutes on the elliptical machine I should weigh at least 2 lbs lighter! At this point I'd settle for 2 sticks of butter, but that's not happening either. emoticon

Hopefully, next week will be better...I'm going to look over the core program to switch up for the week, perhaps that will give my body the shock it needs to get out of this stagnant mode!

    It took me a good month of working hard on the eliptical and walking before the scale started to move, but when it did the weight started coming off all at once. Everyones body is different. Its hard to be patient but as long as you are working hard the weight WILL come off!

    Dont get frustrated, remember you are also building muscle, so you might not see the weight loss.

I am happy to say that I was able to get to WW this morning and I lost 2.2 lbs!!! This brings my grand total WW loss to 25 lbs. as of this morning. I received a charm and a holder to commemorate my 10% achievement and 25 lb. loss. I'm excited that I've reached one goal and know it's a long journey ahead of me. But I'll just take one step at a time and keep on striving for the best. Thanks to those of you out there who keep up my enthusiasm for the long haul. emoticon

  


Not a good day

I have to go to WW tomorrow and in the 21 weeks I've gone, I've never gained. Tonight we all went out to dinner and I didn't have a problem till I got home. I had about a cup of gnocchi in the fridge and actually ate it about 2 hours after dinner. It totals only 3 points WW but still there was no reason to even do so! We have had a deluge of rain since 3 pm, and I haven't walked since last Thursday. I had plans to go today and due to the weather that was shot. Did I exercise in front of tv ?? No...I'm feeling rather guilty for not exercising, eating, and just feeling bloaty! emoticon Tomorrow hopefully the rain will stop (even though they are calling for rain for the next few days and I will get off my duff and get out there and do what I have to. If it does rain I will make sure i exercise in my living room.

    You may not gain!!!! It sounds like you have been doing well with your weight loss if you havent gained in 21 weeks. WOW, what an accomplishment. Just dust yourself off tomorrow and everything will be okay! :)
