A few weeks ago there was a "daily blog" (Coach Nicole's I think) that said we should try a new exercise or food at least three times before writing it off. At the time I declared quite emphatically that I had tried step class once and that was enough for me to know it was not my thing.
Well, today I got so bored and missing my regular karate classes I looked for something to do and decided what the hey, I'll try it one more time. Sooo... with a different instructor and slightly different routine, it was actually fun! There! I've said it!
Now my plan is to take the Tuesday class for the rest of August, and come September, when my Tuesdays will be busy with karate again, I'll give the Monday class another whirl. I'm hoping by then I'll be comfortable enough with it that I'll be able to keep up with the other instructor, even though I'm directionally challenged. (My daughter once suggested I should get tattoos on my hands with "left" and "right".)
And I will never doubt Coach Nicole again!
