My Goals BLC20
Goal weight loss is 25 lbs.
As a Scarlet Starlet
1 ~ to participate in all challenges
2 ~ to share openly with my fellow star's in all our ups and downs gaining insight and wisdom from others and offering what I can to help them on our journies.
3 ~ to post daily even if a shorty when I'm working killer hours
My personal goals can only be set if I take a honest look at where I have been and how I have come to the present..First I need to accept that chocolate is not a fruit or vegetable...I am a stress eatter... I can go months without eatting fruits or veggies.. my main food sources usually are potatoes, meats, breads of all sorts, junk food and my beloved chocolate in ANY form.. I don't have to be hungry to eat.. I get great pleasure from eatting.. I have tried almost every diet out there and once that scale don't move or something stressfull in reallife happensor I find myself with more to do than there are hours in the day.. it always got tossed to the curb.. I have always seen to others needs before my own sometimes doing so much my only option for food was a quick trip through a drive through where I have ordered 3 complete supersized meals cause am so busy not sure when will be near food again..My history of hydration would be "what water is a beverage?" I put away close to 2 (2 liters) of diet pop daily if not more... If I drink tea it has to have tons of sugar in it..and lets not get started on taco bells fruitista drinks omg love those... on to exercise...where do I start here... how bout with the plain honest truth... I have a collection of vcr tapes and cd's along with their weights or stretch bands or balls or stacking steps , the firm wave, the firm transformer, a rebounder, etc that are all hidding in closets around my house.. most have never been used they were purchased with good intentions. Live or time got in the way. I also have a membership to 24 hour fitness that use to be rarely used... When I started sparks and started going again had to get a new pass number to log in there...
to this end my goals are:
1 ~ Make me a priority Goals
a ~ don't schedule myself so busy that I can't have me time and can't eat healthy
b ~ no drive throughs for the next 12 weeks.
c ~ take time to do fun things that I haven't done in a long time and journal it so that I can be accountable to accomplishing this.
d ~ learn to say no and continue to say "no" to others that ask of my time ( this will be the hard one )
2 ~ My Nutrition Goals
a ~ precook healthy food one day a week and put in serving sized containers at the ready for those days I am too busy to cook.
b ~ be adventerous with trying new fruits and new vegetables each week and journaling what I liked or didn't like about them
c ~ track on sparks every bite I take and to stay in the guidelines for calories.
d~ try new recipes so I don't get bored
3 ~ My Hydration Goals
a ~ to drink 8 to 10 cups of water a day.
b ~ to try different green and herbal teas using fruit juices to sweeten them not sugar.
c ~ to cut down on my diet soda habit each week being soda free on my 12th week.
4 ~ My exercise goals
a ~ I have joined the 12 week streak and my personal goal is 60 minutes daily.
b ~ To organize my collection of exercise equipment out in the open by the end of the first week and post a photo of it when completed.
c ~ 1'st Month of BLC20 try 1 new tape/cd a week. Accepting how much of it I am able to complete or not. Logging the title and how I did and felt after each.
d ~ 2'nd Month of BLC20 try 2 new tape/cd a week. Accepting how much of it I am able to complete or not. Logging the title and how I did and felt after each.
e ~ 3'rd Month of BLC20 try 3 new tape/cd a week for the first three weeks. Accepting how much of it I am able to complete or not. Logging the title and how I did and felt after each.
f ~ the last week of BLC20 start with the first tape I did and redo it logging the differences. Do 3 of the tapes a day to complete all those I had done before. This also gives me a week long LCW end to a wonderful 12 weeks!!!!
g ~ continue to prepack four bags for hitting the gym for 3 days of lifting weights and 4 days of swimming laps.
h~ when I started sparks just over a month ago I started doing the jumba tape lol... I so can't do all the moves or finish the tape but I do march in place when I can't do the moves or keep up and I do go for 30 minutes currently my goal is to be able to do the whole tape in proper form and no march cheating by the end of this challenge.
My rewards are:
1 ~ following the above goals will give me the greatest reward in giving myself a healthy life.
2 ~ each week that I am accountable with my goals I will reward myself with my fav thing shopping!!!! new clothing always a size smaller ...for now.
