I've been feeling kinda down the last few days. I haven't lost any weight but gained a pound. When I look at my tracking it seems I've done everything right, guess not. So I sign on today and I looked at the winners from the give a way and I noticed I actually won! That made my day, I never win anything. Winning the 5 MISSION Skincare Prize Packages boosted me up a bit. So I can start this week/Monday off with a jump! emoticon

Making time

Friday, August 28, 2009

It's not always easy to find time working out. Sometimes the kids, work or other activities seem to take up a lot of time. Always remember even if you can't make it to the gym or get a few hours of workout, do small home workouts for at least 10-15 minutes. In the long run a small workout daily can make a BIG difference.

Even 10 minutes a day 3 times a day is better than doing 0 minutes 10 times a day!

Here's my story...

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

I'm 26 years old, married with two beautiful children. At 23 my husband and I decided to have a baby. Being skinny my whole life I thought after I had my son I would go back to wearing a size 3-4. Yeah right, that didn't happen at all. My metabolism slowed way down and I could no longer eat whatever I wanted when I wanted. So I got on a program called Slim4life. For the most part the program was GREAT! I lost 38 pounds in 3 months. The down side to this was I took 15 supplements a day! I know, that's a lot even thought they were all natural. Besides that I was limited on the foods I could eat. If I didn't lose the weight as fast as I did, I would have NEVER been able to afford the program any longer. Now that I just had my daughter I am right back to the struggle of getting the inches/pounds off. emoticon
