After working six days last week, I was determined to make a difference Sunday and not waste a moment. I could barely contain my joy of having the day off, rejoicing in the Lord for the day He made.
After getting just a few hours sleep, I didn't physically visit a church this Sunday. I enjoyed live video streaming of the the 11:00 AM service of my church in St. Peters, MO-Church on the Rock. (cotr.org). Hearing my Pastor deliver a fine message on how to survive in the wilderness did wonders for my soul. How I miss fellowshipping with like minded people and I miss my church that I have participated in for the last eight years. It was good to hear the choir and it was great to hear Pastor Blunt speak wisdom and truth from the Bible.
I got a spot cleaner for my carpet. I am so tired of looking at this dirty carpet and my Kirby Cleaner just didn't do it justice. So I took my coupon to Bed Bath and Beyond after reading reviews for the Bissell Heat Spot cleaner. I got down on a soiled area and so far I am pleased with that section. My entire carpet needs to be cleaned, but this spot cleaner will help me maintain hard hit areas. I think I may just rent a Rug Doctor to knock out high traffic areas and with my Kirby and this Spot cleaner I should be able to keep the areas clean. Oh how I miss my berber carpet I had in my home, it cleaned up so nicely. I am am just going to count it all joy that I have a place with carpet.
I vacuumed up, empty a few boxes, washed a few rugs and I did make some veggies to go with my baked chicken. I am preparing for another round of six days to work and I am grateful that I have a job, no matter how grueling it can be.
I didn't accomplish everything that needed to be done, but I made a visible dent and to me that gives me a sense of accomplishment. I am going back to the old fashion way and make my daily to do list. I just do not want to go to work and go to bed. I need a little variety, a little outlet in life.
Jesus is life, the rest is just details!
