I am thankful that this Sunday was a day off, a day of rest and preparation for the next six days. I am thankful I serve a wonderful God who knows what I need before I even know it, who guides and protects me, who allows goodness and mercy to follow me.
I worked twelve grueling hours on Saturday and it looks like I will do it again Monday. In keeping up with my Financial Peace class, it is all good. I am a bit frustrated that my knee is acting up, but I will press toward the prize of the high calling. I found a better knee support, I am taking a new medication to help combat inflammation and I am switching between ice and heat.
I have put together a healthy menu for this week, starting off tomorrow with a salad for work, along with my protein shakes. Since I am going in four hours early, I want to make sure I fuel my body with healthy bit size foods. I do not like to eat heated meals at work for my normal eight hour shift. I purchase a freezer pack to take in my traveling cooler for my carrot sticks and salad.
Today I concentrated on getting my knee together for this week and I attended my Financial Peace class. I am heading off to bed early since I didn't get home until 4:20 this morning and I was up by 10:30. I made a decent dinner of baked chicken, cauliflower and corn on the cobb. I am pretty full now and I plan on hopping into bed now with my ice pack.
Thanks to all my Spark family for your kind words of support. I appreciate each and everyone of you that take the time to read my blog. I just write what is on my mind and I hope if I have encouraged anyone with my ramblings, I am truly humbled and thankful. If i do not respond to you personally by stopping by your page or send you a goodie, please forgive me. I try not to spend too much time on the computer and more time getting my rear in gear by exercising more. Again, much love to ya Spark family
