As part of the Experiment we were asked to “imagine Gratitude spinning by 90 degrees each turn; opening… a way to reach any chosen space... to give lift to any focused charge, intention, and command... an on-demand stair way to heaven” and “the 9-0 in Gratitude” as “merely a turn of perspective.”
In addition to ‘stairways’, we focused on rainbows in the Journey “full spectrum visualizations of watery manifestations bridging earth” that provide a model for “shining our light (attention, intention) through water (our bodies being 70% water, brain 85%) an arc connects all that IS with all that may BE.”
While spinning the Go Gratitude symbol I liked to contemplate that “Light reflects off water at a 42 degree angle to create a rainbow” and the rainbow serves as a way to manifestation.
"If manifestation is the ability to practice living in the feeling of a future reality, so we become the magnet attracting it into the present moment, intention must be the bridge (stairs or rainbow) that (returns) us to this mindset on a daily basis."
We can use Matt Kahn’s "Spectrum of Intention” (one line per day) to “expand (our) consciousness by allowing (our) focus to change, which then changes how (we) are feeling, so the forces of Universal harmony may gift (us) with the joy that has always been waiting for (us) in the spaces of today.”
Spectrum of Intentions
As long as I am breathing, I will always be alive.
As long as I am alive, I will always be evolving.
As long as I am evolving, I will always be changing.
As long as I am changing, I will always be conscious.
As long as I am conscious, I will always be deliberate.
As long as I am deliberate, I will always be intentional.
As long as I am intentional, I will always be focused.
As long as I am focused, I will always be consistent.
As long as I am consistent, I will always be certain.
Stairway or rainbow, here’s wishing you changes in perspectives that open you to opportunities to connect with your future desires.

This day’s ideas flowed (or whirled) perfectly from yesterdays’. The Experiment’s idea of toning shalom for my h(om)e – self and planet - and sending an offering for world peace, seemed seamless.
In addition, on the Journey we were asked to understand that “Abundance = currency = current see” and to use abundance as a way to receive our intentions. We were asked (just for that day) to:
“Peacefully focus on what IS, giving thanks for current resources, surroundings, companionship, opportunities, silence and sound. As you feel "in the flow", shift to a space of intentional creation. Allow your heart to manifest an optimum pathway.”
As I was asking for world peace, I chose “to lend (my) voice to this process, toning Ah-Om (shalom) as you visualize, emotionally appreciate and intellectually assimilate your intended manifestation, continually shifting focus to appreciate an abundance of currency you are able to currently see.”
We were told the exercise utilized “all four brainwave patterns, creating a unified field in sync with your highest good, and that of others.”
· Beta = Senses and Logic
· Alpha = Flowing Emotions
· Theta = Intellectual or conceptual
· Delta = Unified Intent
You too might “Consider using this daily to flow beyond attitude to aptitude of Gratitude!”
PS - As I continue blogging I've discovered I'm remiss in not providing the beginning of the 42 day journey. Please see: www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_public_jo
I will add to future blogs.

On Day 21 we were offered a way to create as well as reminded, “Home is our sacred place of rest, relaxation, and peaceful-ness…in our hearts, as daily living space, our Beloved planet Earth, as well as Source-God-Creator…wherever we are.
At the heart of H(OM)E is OM, the universal sound of Gratitude.”

One way to create:
“Remember a moment of true Gratitude
Breathe deeply this powerful memory
(Then) structure activities to receive all you conceive
Breathe deeply once more
Exhale to acknowledge, accept, and appreciate
Knowing You know Gratitude”
“1. Gratitude 2. Will 3. Deliver”
We also can use ‘toning’ to combine gratitude with a request for creativity.
Heather Macauley explains the universal sound of attraction is Ah (as in God, Allah, Jehovah) and the universal sound of gratitude is Om. These sounds are sung on one note (this is also called "toning"). “Ah is sung for 20 minutes in the morning and Om for 20 minutes in the evening (the most powerful times being sunrise and sunset) and right before bed sing "shalom" which is the combination of the two.” Since her days were hectic (like ours) she discovered “that I'd sing Ah in the morning and forget to sing Om at night. So I devised my own system where I'd sing Ah and Om on the same breath… (That may not be technically correct, but the Universe ALWAYS understands our intentions.)”
I like the idea of singing shalom (also not technically correct), but may peace be with us all!

“Practice is the art of learning
Mastery is the art of living
Gratitude is the art of Loving”
"...a basic law: the more you practice the art of thankfulness, the more you have to be thankful for.
Thankfulness does tend to reproduce in kind. The attitude of gratitude revitalizes the entire mental process by activating all other attitudes, thus stimulating creativity."
(Norman Vincent Peale, American pastor, Author 1898-1993)
On Day 20 of our Journey we were asked “to give thanks for our arboreal friends, their verdant presence and watery essence as living, loving messengers of time. Look around for a nearby tree. Breathe deeply it's vibrant nature.” We were to “Take a moment to appreciate its unique-ness, stage of growth, and continual state of change.” To recognize trees “grow both up and down (branch and root), continually exchange water; ground us in the NOW and offer comfort, protection, and a daily changing view.” And finally to “Remember, the Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, expressing Gratitude for its' shelter and assistance in his emancipation.”
What better place to practice?

On the 19th day of the Experiment we were to consider that the Go Gratitude symbol
begins with G
and ends with
Like ALPHA AND OMEGA, the mirror images represent the beginning and ending of creation. “Gratitude shifts our awareness to a circular perspective, a glimpse beyond Now by mirroring ends, opening space for everything between the Alpha and the Omega.”
As we continued on our Journey we were asked to open ourselves to others because, “When you are grateful, your heart is open -- open towards others, open for surprise.”
We were asked to “Connect eye to eye with another while expressing Gratitude” to open “a direct channel between each heart, allowing truth to flow easily between you and creating a sacred moment.” We were to “Be fully present to note and appreciate how others receive and return this silently spoken message of Love and Gratitude.”We were to “Look a stranger in the eyes today and realize that there are no strangers.”
I have no difficulty fulfilling this suggestion. While I normally greet people with words (good morning or good afternoon), now that I’m riding my bike to work, I’m often too winded to speak.
