My Training went well...My ass hurts lol Literally

Yes I feel like I've pulled a muscles in my buttock...Its a shooting pain from my training session on Sat...Ive since worked out a couple times and Im still feeling this pain...Im so upset because I do not want it to slowed down my workouts. Of course I dont feel like going to do the doctor...But if it is still hurting by Sat. Unfortunately, I will have to go..Other than that Im still loving my transitions. Toodles...

    I may know what pain you're talking about. Have you tried a glute stretch? It's really helpful at relieving that type of pain. Here's the link to the page: http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource

Also, check out the fitness section for more lower body/glute stretches.

Hey Spark Lovelies!!! Well, ive been staying on my am workout...I tell you...it keeps your energy going through out the day..Its like a schedule..I need and have to be there...I feel like working out is helping me process things alot better mentally...But this week..I started to work out with my family...OMG!!! My family friend is a BEASTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT...She worked me out so bad...One day I literally had the feeling of nausea...But Im loving the confidence and determination that I am building everyday...We also see the same trainer and she has used him for years...I start with him tomorrow...I am slightly afraid how this will be...But I am soooooo ready for the challenge...I let you gals know how it went...Toodles...

    Well, maybe working out with your friend has given you a preview. Jillian Michaels works out a lot different than Cathe Friedrich but I find that I like both they're style. They go hard & I try to hang with em. Don't be scared Girl, you are Sparkfamily.....

Creating new habits....

For the last five days...i have dedicated myself to walk 2 miles on the track. I feel like I am really accomplishing something...Although I am tired as hell and still working on my eating habits. I feel like Im working towards a goal and creating new habits to follow. Next week, I am going to try to kick it up a knotch and start to run the curves and walk the straights.... I wanted to gradually began to exercise again. I feel good though...Loving this new transition in my life...Stay Tuned Sparkies...

No working out last night...

Hello Lovely People,

I wanted to work out last night. However, my body would not let me. I felt so nausea and sick. All i could do was call for my bed. Today, i feel much better than I did last night. However, I am going to try to sleep and get rest this holiday weekend. NOOOOOOOOOOO working out!! Just rest!!! Anyone in NYC do you know of any free workout classes ie: Zumba or Salsa. Anything that is fun that I can lose weight at the same time. My coworkers would like to join me. Enjoy your day Lovelies. Laterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hello My lovely people,

I woke up this morning and could really feel the effects of my workout. Tonight, I am going to do about 40 mins of The Firm Express. Ladies, that workout is no joke for 20 minutes each dvd. I really love it. However, Ive been eating Prunes today...Enough said. I'm sure you guys all know why!! Heeheehee!! Today has been a so so day. I am really ready to work it out and let all of my stress go. I am really thinking about joining a combat or kick boxing class. I need high intensity type of workout where i can kick some imaginary ass. LMAO!! I hope everyone is doing well on their journeys. Till next time!! Smooch!!

    Keep it up girl! I did tae kwon do for six months and that helped me shed weight but tooooooooooooo costly. But at least I learned a few moves to help kick some ass! Have a great weekend and good luck! emoticon
