I did not hear about the Connecticut shootings until almost 4:00 this afternoon. So sad for all the victims of such a horrible crime, including that young man who did it, because he obviously needed some kind of help that he did not receive. Thankful for the brave people who saved many lives, and for those who are comforting and supporting so many who are affected in many ways. And in addition, it occurrs to me that, although there may be no direct connection, this was also in the same general area of the country where so many have still been dealing with the ravages of the storm, Sandy.

How to log a workout class?

Some advice is needed here re. how to log the 30-minute workout class I participated in on Tuesday. Am I supposed to log each of the rapid-fire exercises we did?

Yesterday's Workout Result

It felt really good to go to the Y and accomplish a workout yesterday afternoon. I pedaled for 25 minutes on the stationary spinner cycle, and worked up a sweat. Then I showered off and went swimming for about 35 minutes. It feels like it was enough, because I was tired afterwards, and have a few aches and a little soreness this morning. I need to make this into a regular activity, so I will try to do some again tomorrow, remembering to take my water bottle along.

    I definitely learned to take my water bottle with me when I go to my water classes and water workouts .... truly makes a difference .... great job on the workout !! Our Y is cleaning the pool this week for its annual cleaning ... sure miss it and all my water buddies !! Roc

    sounds like only cardio. did you do any exercises or strength training?
