Had a big ice storm over night so internet just came back on. After the drive from North Carolina Mon. [900 miles] it took Tues. and Wend. to sleep it off. Finally got caught up with the paper work the rest of the week. The two G K came over Sat. to help decorate the tree, 3 and 5 year old, they do a very good job and what a blessing to have them around. We missed soo much with our first wave of G.K. because they were scattered all over. This is one reason we drive 112 miles and leave at 5:10 A.M. once a week to babysit our other 1 and 3 year olds. Back to the tree, The boys just love to climb up the stool and reach real high, the good news is they didn't fall into the tree. God has been so good to me, oh I almost forgot, I lost 1 lbs. this week , I'm on track to get back where I was before Thanksgiving. Skeeter

Tuesday I'm back. Nov. 27

Tuesday, November 27, 2007

We made it back from visiting first born and family in North Carolina yesterday. Drove 900 miles through rain most of the day. Was so beautiful on the way out all the trees were turning such magnificent colors. I took many pictures while taking my walks to help remind me of God's beauty. Now back to reality and trying to catch up. After helping Son put up his outdoor light's it's my turn in much colder weather. I gained 2 lbs. not to bad for the way I ate, I guess all those walks up those hills helped. Now back to the bike. Stay tunned and keep posted. Skeeter

Your did very vell brother, I am so proud of you. Glad you had a good time & that you are back safely. Nice you are much younger than I to be able to drive 900 miles straight through! Sylvan told me that is what you usally do. I had to check up on you this morning.
After I went to church this morning I went to the bike path & walked 2 miles with my I Pod. I am so thankful to be able to walk the 2 miles & thank God each day. I used the treadmil one day but prefer to go outside!

Fall is officially here. It's 29 degrees as I write this, the tress are full of color and skunks and fox's are digging holes all around us.We had a mess in our yard this fall ,the grubs killed big ,and I mean BIG patches of our yard grass, then the skunks root the dead grass to get at the grubs. We reseeded a lot of the yard, after spreading insecticide and watering it in. the new grass is looking better. Next year we will have to spray in the summer. We went to our annual meeting for Thrivent and Elks dinner dance Friday and Sat. nights, could have been hard on one's diet, only gained 1 lbs. I will lose it back next week. The Lord has been so good to me, see you in church, don't be an hour early. Skeeter

Hi Skeeter! Wow!! 29 degrees is what I would call winter here in Oklahoma!
I love fall, our trees are just starting to get some color, but I think we will have a very colorful fall this year. We live in the country and have a problem with skunks too, and so do our dogs! Yuck! nothing like a house dog getting sprayed by a skunk!!
You are doing so good at maintaining your weight, don't worry about 1 little old pound, you will lose it in no time.
The Lord has been good to me and my family too, may the Lord continue to bless you and yours. Earlene...
