July 22,2007 week #6

Sunday, July 22, 2007

Well I made it through another week with staying steady. Just had great week , lots of rain ,but no frog strangler, and milder temp. just right for the corn crop. Most people don't realize the importance of weather on farming. I thank our LORD daily for these blessings. Isn't SPARKS just the greatest! Skeeter

Week #5

Sunday, July 15, 2007

Looks like another good week, stayed at 187. If I'm not careful this just might become a good habit. Beautiful week, had rain, wind to help to pollinate the corn, after church going to Galesburg for birthday party for our three year old grandchild, God Is Great. Skeeter

Week #4 on the maintaining program. I suppose when I finish harvest this fall and start to lay around it will be more difficult to accomplish, but for now so far so good, I will take it and keep on SPARKING. Thank you Chris.

Is it over?

Saturday, June 09, 2007

I started this journey in Jan. 07, not quite sure of the outcome, after finding success I kept changing my final goal. That day has arrived. I should be shouting and jumping [that would be good exercise] for joy, instead here I sit in my underwear calmly typing. I know my journey is not over, the real challenge now begins. Thank you everyone who has given me an encouraging word, what a great bunch. Thank you MR SPARKS.Chris.

You're right, you're journey is not over. Now you have to keep working to maintain that goal weight, but it should be easier because of all that you've learned at Spark. I know I have learned a lot---how to choose healthy, the benefits of exercise and the fact that a person cannot do it alone. They need the support and motivation that comes from people like you.
