Week 5 - BLC 18

Wow. 5 weeks!

Yeah,. I know my weigh-in day was yesterday, but I forgot. I had eaten breakfast by the time I remembered, so too late by then.

So, my weight today was 240.8. A one pound gain. Not the best weigh-in ever, but certainly not the worst. I know I wasn't completely focused last week and I know I had a day or 2 where I didn't eat the greatest, so 1 pound really isn't that bad. I can live with it. Here's to a week of clean eating and focusing on me.

Week 4 - BLC 18

I was 249.8 today. According to Sparkpeople that's a 2.59999999999999 pound loss. I had to LOL at all those 9's. Do they really find them necessary. Anyway, I'm happy with my numbers this week. I think this is the longest period of time I've stayed on track in quite awhile. Yay me!

This week's challenge for BLC 18 is stairs. Considering I go up and down stairs on and off all day, I should do good for this challenge. We get extra points for climbing a "virtual building" which you do by climbing the amount of steps for the week that are in an actual building. I have never set a goal for this weekly challenge in previous BLC's, I kinda just wing it. This time I have a goal. In order to achieve my goal of Rockefeller Center (NYC) - 1215 stairs, I need to climb our stairs 12 times a day. Actually, I'll do one right now to count the stairs to see if I calculated right.

    I haven't me my goal for the stairs challenge, but I'm not kicking myself. I'm still doing what I can. Everything I do is a step in the right direction, so it's all good.

Week 3 - BLC18

Forgot to do this yesterday.

I was only down 0.6 this week. I'm not unhappy about that. In fact, I'm really okay with it.

This has been a terrible week with lots of stuff going on with my son. I could have totally went off plan and ate to help with the stress, which I have done in the past. But I didn't. Maybe I didn't take care of myself as well I should in regards to water and exercise, but I did good with food. And for that, I feel pretty good. I think it shows that I'm making progress.

So it may only be a small loss in weight, but it's a big gain in how far I've come emotionally. So good for me.

Week 2 - BLC18

My weight was down 7 pounds from last week! 7 pounds!!

I am so happy. If I work this hard at staying on track all the time, I can expect to see results every single week. I'm not talking about the scale because we all know that little hunk of metal is evil. I'm talking about the way I feel, the way clothes fit, the way I look, my measurements. And there will be weeks when nothing seems different, but hopefully weeks like this will carry me though the tough times. Because there will be tough times. I'm not going to kid myself into thinking there won't be.

I am hoping to be at my pre-pregnant weight (yet again) by September because my mother in law is coming to visit and that will be the smallest she's seen me. But you know, even if I don' get there, I'm still making positive changes and that's what really matters. Not some number on the scale. Yeah, tell me that I'm screaming about a gain, k? That evil little critter has power over me even though I like to pretend it doesn't.

M goal for this week is to play outside with my 2 year old every day and get points for this week's challenge. It might not be full on games but I will play, not watch. I would like to get at least 30 minutes of exercise outside each day this week.
