Live what you love

Tuesday, April 30, 2013

So beautifully put that i hope as many ppl as possible read it, believe it and live it:)

***

Live what you love, and love what you live. Anything less is a painful and frustrating waste of your precious time.

Donít just be an image or a concept or an imitation. Be real, be authentic, pushed forward by rich, driving desires, dreams and goals.

Put all of your heart and your spirit into this day, into your work, into the big things and the little ones. Instead of complaining that you donít have enough, celebrate the magnificent truth that you are enough.

You are enough, and there is no limit to how much joy you can send forth into each day. You are enough, and now is your opportunity to experience new and original fulfillment.

Live what you love, give the power of your attention and action to it, and you will come to love it even more. Love what you live, and each thing you do gives you a way to express real joy.

This task, this situation, this feeling, this moment is your priceless life. Love it unconditionally, live it fully, and experience it on the highest, most truthful and beautiful level.

ó Ralph Marston

Did not do brilliantly this week, but good enough...

Sunday, September 04, 2011

...esp considering it was my tom week. So while i don't think i've lost any actual weight (due to eating too much and feeling sluggish), i did manage to get both my planned st workouts in (CE LC2&3) and i did go running twice (tho both times for just 6 or 7k).
I also got a job (sorta;), it'll pay much less than my previous one and i'll have to work much more, but i'm hoping i'll find it more enjoyable (provided that i'll manage to get by financially, course;).
So that's it for this week; i'm hoping next one will be more kick-ass:P. Planning on longer runs and of course three st workouts.

A week in review

Sunday, August 28, 2011

Ts been an all around OK week (esp considering it's my pms week;). I've eaten a bit more sweets and snacks than the previous week, but i've been pretty good on my exercise as well. I did two st workouts (CE PC 2&3), went running twice and swimming once, plus i've given squash a try for the first time (and loved it:).
About my st - i've decided to do 2 CE workouts a week for three weeks (each week from a different phase), so that leaves one week more (LC) and then the fourth week i'm gonna do the first workout from each of the phases, so i'll have 3 st workouts that week. Following that i'm still deciding what i'll do (i might try a few weeks of Insanity, or maybe some Jillian, or a few more weeks of CE ... i'll see what i feel like doing in a fortnight:).
On the job front ... i've sent out a few applications so far and have been invited for one interview next week (though they did say that they don't need anyone at the moment, so the interview is just in case their situation changes and they need someone in the future, but still - better than nth;). Gonna keep trying, cuz i just KNOW there's a job i'll adore somewhere out there just waiting for me to find it:P:D...

How did i do this week?

Sunday, August 21, 2011

Well, i'd have to say...pretty good;) I went running three times (every time for at least a lil than an hour) and i did two st CE workouts (BC2&3). I also managed to keep my calorie intake under 2500, and actually even around 2000 almost every day (and while that may seem high, trust me, it's very good for me;). Today i had a major cheat day cuz we had an all day family picnic, but i didnt really go overboard (it's super hot, so i'm really not that hungry either, which is good).
Next week is my pms week, so that should be...fun;) We'll see how i do:P Also i have to start actively looking for a job, so that too will be...fun;D

Back for more;)

Saturday, August 13, 2011

Havent been on sparks for more than half a yr and unfortunatelly also havent been keeping up w/ my exercise and/or eating healthy, so the result is a few gained kgs. Took me a while to realize they were attached to me permanently tho;) cuz at first i kept gaining and losing the same 3 kgs, which wasnt a big deal, but when some of my jeans started being too small to button up i had to take notice;)
Well, awz, so i'm back here tracking food and am talking myself into a new exercise regime, so far unsuccesfully (slacker;), but i'll get there:) Am thinking of starting with some CE dvds for streght training and running more regularly for cardio and if i'm real good i'll start that next week:P. We'll see how that goes...

I'm also back after too long away (day 3 for me). I gained all the weight back (and then some) after my husband lost his job. Eighteen months of stress, slacking, odd hours, etc. will do that! I bought Zumba dvds recently but have yet to take them out of the box. I'm glad I'm not the only slacker out there!

Plan and stick to it! After my 3 injuries last year, I've been OUT of the game (plus, I didn't eat healthfully--you know, can't exercise...may as well emotionally-eat?).

CE: I'm on day 3 of week 1 :D
