Fit Test Three Results (3/14)

Switch Kicks - 64
Power Jacks - 55
Power Knees - 100
Power Jumps - 30
Globe Jumps - 10
Suicide Jumps - 21
Pushup Jacks - 21
Low Plank Obliques - 50

My numbers actually keep going down a little on the Low Plank Obliques. I think my form is getting better though. I probably wasn't doing them right at first. Next fit test on 4/7!

Some improvements, but you can tell I was getting tired....

Next Fit Test scheduled for 3/14 - end of 30 days.

Did the Insanity Fit test tonight. I can see why it makes some want to throw up. After all that work, he has you on the floor in the end ab crunching from a push up position (Low Plank Obliques). I made it through though. Here's how many I did of each exercise:

36 - Switch Kicks
41 - Power Jacks
71 - Power Knees
22 - Power Jumps
10 - Globe Jumps
18 - Suicide Jumps
9 - Push Up Jacks (NOT my thing)
54 - Low Plank Obliques

    Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I don't plan to "do Insanity" by their plans, but the DVDs are here and I'm going to work them in with my other workouts. I bought the set for my husband for Christmas. emoticon

I want to do the fit test every few weeks and see how I improve. emoticon

A small revelation...

When I quit smoking, something I'd tell myself when I'd want a cigarette was, "You're a nonsmoker, and nonsmokers do not smoke cigarettes."

So, now I tell myself, "Thin people do not eat an entire bag of conversation hearts." (Although I'm not yet thin. hah!) I'd been thinking I might let myself have "just one bag."

Whew! No one ever said changing who I am would be easy. I've been developing these bad habits for YEARS!

    You're right, we build these bad habits over years, it's not gonna change overnight, or even in a week or two. They say a new habit takes 30 days to become...well....habit. Work on one good "new" habit at a time and good things will start to happen.

55 Days till we go to Disney World!!! I'm hoping to be another size down. I've never been, and I'm so excited AND overwhelmed.

We're staying at the Nickelodeon Suites, and I keep hearing you really need to stay at one of the Disney resort plus I see some bad reviews for the Nick Hotel (on things that matter to adults - kids seem to love it) so, I dunno.... but my daughter LOVES Spongebob and has always been a Nick kid as far as TV shows. We always loved that Nick Jr didn't have commercials.

While there, we plan to go to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Sea World and Discovery Cove. My daughter is 5. Any tips????
