It's been a little while since I posted a blog. I was having issues with losing weight and inches even though I was working out 5 days a week. I have been trying something new the last 3 weeks and it has seemed to help. First I have cut out all most all wheat from my diet. I have no more bloating or gas so that is the first benefit. I am also trying to eat a few organic items - eggs and peanut butter are a few things I have tried. My stomach feels lighter and I have lost 1.5 inches from my waist. I also lost .5 inch off my thighs and 4.5 lbs. I had gained some back so it doesn't show that I have lost any but I have. I finally feel like my hard work is starting to pay off!

good week

I have had a good week in regards to exercise and diet. I have worked out everyday this week and only went over on my calories one day and that was a very small amount. Today I did 37 min on the elliptical - 4.5 mi; 25 calories and I did ab work.

another good day

I finished yesterday within in my diet ranges - except for calcium. I also walked to the grocery store last night and burned almost another 100 calories. Today I did 39 min cardio/elliptical - 263 calories; 4.3 mi. and did ab work. Trying again to stay within my diet ranges.

Yesterday (3/28/11) I did my 35 min cardio and I stayed within my diet guidelines - I was only under on one thing and nothing was over! Today I did my 35 min cardio and upper body exercises w/weights. I'm planning on staying within my diet guidelines today.

I missed working out yesterday. I had the day off and had lunch plans. Today I did a 40 min walk/run outside and burnde 216 calories. I also did Days 4 & 7 of the boot camp videos (abs). Still waiting to see some results - no weight loss or inches lost yet. I have been steadily working out 4 -5 days a week since the beginning of Feb. In Jan. I worked out 2 - 3 days a week. This week I tried doing some of the boot camp videos 2 x. Hopefully I will see some results soon.

    Sometimes we do better with the rest days included. Sounds like you are putting in solid work!

    How do you feel? The internal changes are hard to discern and it takes awhile before they show up on the outside. Stick to it! You are gaining stamina!
