weekend away!

well it has been another busy week at work - as soon as I arrive on Tuesday morning it is non stop until thursday afternoon! From next week I will be changing my hours so I will be doing tues and wed all day then half days on thurs and friday. The week after that I start a research job - just on a monday which I am looking forward to.

I have been preparing a cv this evening - as it is time to start looking for jobs in the Poole area. Our house should be going up for sale next week after a minor hiccup!

Matt and I are going to Poole for the weekend to have a look round. The boys will be staying at their grandparents!!!!

I have not managed to do much exercise at all this week. Still eating quite healthily (if you ignore the chips twice this week!) but not managed to log it this week.

Well heres to a lovely weekend by the sea!!!

well we have been busy working on the house. Matt and my dad painted our hall,stairs and landing last weekend whilst I took the kids to visit my sister in N.Wales last weekend. Busy decluttering my bedroom today. I have managed to fit some exercise in as well! Matt has just taken another car load of stuff to the tip!!
They are coming on Monday to make an evaluation on our house - it is starting to feel more real!!

I haven't done this blog for ages - there never seems time. Feeling a bit grotty this week with a cold. I haven't changed my ticker for over a month - the weight is not moving. I am sure I have been good - not really eating that much chocolate and I have increased the amount of exercise I am doing.
Yoga class once a week and ea sport active wii thingie now increased to3 times a week. This week I have moved on to the medium intensity workouts on the sport active.

I keep getting on the weigh scales hoping that there will be a loss of a pound or two but it is not moving - really I need to ignore the scales for a while.

There are going to be some big changes over the next few months. My husband has got a new job in Poole, Dorset which he will be starting at the end of September. We are working hard to do the house up to make it ready to put up for sale. I am also looking out for new jobs down south. Its a bit strange as we are going through the motions and I won't believe it is real until it happens.

Has anyone got any tips on moving that weigh scale again - maybe I am not completing my nutrition tracker properly.

Oh well today is my eldests 8th birthday and we are going to Twin lakes so there will be lots of walking to do!

Ditto! Check your measurements - sometimes when the scales stop the inches do the moving!! Just allow your body to adjust at its pace rather than yours! Hello love, haven't we all been there & done that. As you say, ignore the scales for a while but instead use the tape measure. You will find that because you are exercising you sometimes put on weight to start with because you are building you muscles up, however as you have stayed the same you are obviously winning & will soon start to see a change. Hi folks,

well we are just about packed and will be ready to set off at 8am tomorrow - we have a busy week ahead of us - two days at legoland, a day at chessington world of adventure then 5 days in Devon staying with my dad - where we will be visiting various theme parks!!
I think I will be doing plenty of walking and will try to be careful with my diet (I did say try!).

I started the week with good intentions - taking sandwiches and healthy wraps to work for lunch but pigged out on a chinese takeaway one night and a sausage and fried egg sandwich yesterday.
I have been doing the wii personal trainer exercises - which have been really good but this week I have felt quite listless at times - usually the day after exercising - you do 2 days in a row exercise with a day off to rest then another 2 days in a row. Having said that I was too tired yesterday to do the exercise and feel just as lethargic today - probably the weather!
I am going to do the wii fit tonight so will see how I go!
